You May Not Kiss the Bride, the indie movie Katharine McPhee shot in Hawaii beginning in 2009 is finally getting a release date.
It will open Sept. 2 at the Consolidated’s Pearlridge 16 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to be followed by releases in in 200 Russian theaters as well as in Romania, Hungary, Canada and Latin America.
In it, A mobster tries to arrange his daughter’s U.S. citizenship (played by Katharine) by setting her up with an American photographer. “You May Not Kiss the Bride” also stars Dave Annable, Mina Suvari, Rob Schneider, Vinnie Jones, Tia Carrere, Ken Davitian, and Kathy Bates.
Katharine is currently starring in the television musical drama Smash set to premiere on NBC in January.
