Katharine McPhee has dropped one more new song, “Love Strikes,” from her upcoming album, Hysteria, due out on September 18.
The American Idol alum and Scorpion star penned tunes with songwriting luminaries like Ryan Tedder, Sia and Isabella Machine.
It’s been a minute since the singer released Unbroken in 2010. Happy that she waited, rather than rush something out, Katharine is confident that she “put out an album that felt like came from me.” She describes Hysteria as a pop album, with a “mature vibe” and “old influences.”
Hysteria is available for pre-order at iTunes now. Scorpion season 2 premieres on CBS September 21 at 9/8c PM.
