Pop singer, Justin Bieber, is officially on a rehabilitation tour. After laying pretty low for a few months, the singer has surfaced to announce that he’ll be the subject of an upcoming Comedy Central roast. What better way to say I’m Sorry about past douchebaggery, than to allow a roomful of comedians to mock you mercilessly about every dumb ass thing you’ve ever done?
This week, Justin made a “surprise” visit to the Ellen Degeneres Show, with flowers and Calvin Klein’s in hand, to wish the comedian a Happy Birthday. Her show was the first “big time” talk show he ever visited, back when he was a chubby cheeked 15 year old innocent.
After the appearance, Justin pulled out his phone to record an impromptu video, which the singer posted on his Facebook:
“Basically, I’ve been acting [out] in the past year, year and a half, and I’m not what I was pretending to be. Why I say pretending is often, we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover-up of what we’re truly feeling inside. There was a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Growing up in general is hard.
“But yeah, I felt awkward up there, I felt like all those people judging me. And I really wanted people to know how much I care, how much I care about people. And how I’m not that person to say that ‘I don’t give a f-ck.’ I’m not that kid. I’m a person that genuinely, genuinely cares. And although what’s happened in the past has happened, I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft. And although people can call me a softie, that’s how my mom raised me.”
So, Yes. Justin is so very very sorry for behaving like an asshat. Please buy his stuff again, won’t you?
