American Idol season 18 winner, Just Sam and Top 20 contestant Faith Becnel joined forces recently for a cover of “The Christmas Song.” Fans may or may not remember Faith. Despite making it to the Top 20, where she sang Bishop Briggs’ “River”, the show hardly featured her.
The two sat for a photo shoot and dropped a link to a pre-save a week before its December 12 release. The song is distributed through Faith’s independent label. As the winner of American Idol, Hollywood Records and 19 Records signed Sam to a record deal. But there appears to be no ETA on new music yet.
But in the meantime, enjoy this lovely rendition of a classic Christmas tune.
Both Sam and Faith posts tons of photos from the shoot. But for whatever reason, Sam routinely wipes her Instagram page clean. To be on the safe side, I will post photos from Faith’s account.
Recently Just Sam performed Carole King songs for a Michael Kors fashion show that took place in a New York City community garden. The young singer also met Bette Midler over Zoom!
