John Mayer loves him some Jordin Sparks!
Mayer and Jordin performed together Thursday night aboard the Carnival Splendor cruise ship, docked in the Port of Los Angeles.
It was all about benefiting music programs in public schools for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.
Also performing were Gavin Rossdale, O.A.R., Sara Bareilles, Guster and Erin McCarley.
After the jump, Entertainment Weekly interviews John Mayer, who waxes poetic about Jordin. “She’s extremely talented, ” Mayer says, “She’s going to be around for awhile.”
Jordin is set to begin a 50 date tour with the Jonas Brothers this summer.
