Worth noting is a performance he shared of himself rehearsing with previous The Voice judge, Ceelo Green. It’s possible that connection helped him land a spot on the current season.

Overall Thoughts: Though I think he has a solid voice, I feel like I’ve seen a hundred singers just like Jon in the past on these shows. Based off the little I’ve heard from him, he seems doomed to an early exit. My advice to Jon is to try and do something different that will make him stand out, because as of now he’s looking like easy fodder. I’m just not seeing many unique things about him. I would suggest he go for very stripped back performances that allow him to showcase the pretty aspects of his voice. Breaking out his piano skills would also be a smart move! Who knows, maybe he will end up surprising us this season.

Song Suggestions:
1- Earned It, by The Weeknd
2- Hymn For The Weekend, by Coldplay
3- I’m Not The Only One, by Sam Smith
