Jimmie Allen continues to make the rounds of the singing shows! The country singer is set to perform on the American Song Contest FINALE on Monday (May 9).

The American Idol and Dancing with the Stars alum previously mentored the Idol Top 24 singers earlier this year at the Disney Aulani Resort in Hawaii. He also performed on stage during the episode.

The singer posted a message on social media from the set of the show

“What’s up y’all, Jimmie Allen here,” he said. “And I am here at the grand final for American Song Contest. Make sure you tune in tonight…it’s going to be a good time. I’m going to sing my song ‘Down Home’.”

Jimmie competed on Dancing with the Stars season 30 last fall. Additionally, he was an American Idol contestant, cut just before the Top 24 on Season 10.

“Down Home” is the first single off of Jimmie’s third album, Tulip Drive, out on Friday June 24 via Stoney Creek Records/BBR Music Group. Tulip Drive is the name of the street his late grandmother grew up on.

Jimmie is currently on the Down Home Tour with American Idol Chayce Beckham as his opener.

Ten acts will perform songs on the American Song Contest finale, all competing to be the winning song. Hosts Snoop Dogg and American Idol OG winner, talk show host and The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson will also perform.

The American Song Contest finale airs on NBC tonight (Monday May 9) at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC. Fans can vote for their favorite songs NOW. Everything to know about American Song Contest voting is at this link.
