A slew of reality, tv and social stars took to the stage at the iHeartRadio theater in Los Angeles to raise money for the Red Cross at the annual Tubeathon streamed live at twitch.tv on April 20.
Some of our favorites were on hand to perform, and we have the video to prove it. Apologies. I tried to capture video of American Idol 14 winner, Nick Fradiani’s acoustic performance of his new single, “Get You Home,” but internet connection issues interfered. If something eventually turns up on Youtube, I’ll post it here.
Additionally, The Voice season 3 singer, Melanie Martinez, was scheduled to perform, but had to bow out due to vocal problems.
It was a big night for American Idol season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez. The singer performed her new song, an R&B ballad titled “Call Me.”
The most recent American Idol runner-up La’Porsha Renae sang her coronation single, “Battles.” Whoever that was introducing the singer, really butchered her last name. The production was kind of a mess, but it was all for a good cause!
Check out The Voice season 6 singer, Christina Grimmie’s performance of her song “Anybody’s You.” The tune is from the singer’s recently released EP, Side A.
