Jennifer Lopez’s boy toy, Casper Smart, may be easy on the eyes, but don’t trust him with a secret, or to understand the difference between official and unofficial.
Casper, whom Jlo began dating when he was one of her backup dancers, revealed to E! News during an interview, that YES, his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, would be returning as judge to American Idol.
Apparently, he believed that the network, FOX, had already made the announcement.
WHOOPSIE.
Only Keith Urban, who sat on the panel last season, is confirmed for the show’s 13th season. Most media reports quote sources that claim Jlo’s deal is practically done, and to expect her to re-take (she was a judge during Seasons 10 and 11) her seat on the panel. Casper didn’t exactly spill a surprise.
Will.i.am, producer and Black Eyed Pea, will reportedly round out the panel, but his talks weren’t as advanced as Jlo’s, according to reports. And the BBC, the producer of The Voice UK, where Will is currently employed as a coach, still maintains that he’s part of the show.
