THE OSCARS¨ - The 91st Oscars¨ broadcasts live on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre¨ at Hollywood & Highland Center¨ in Hollywood and will be televised live on The ABC Television Network at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST. (ABC/Craig Sjodin) JENNIFER HUDSON

Watch Jennifer Hudson sing the Oscar nominated song “I’ll Fight.” The American Idol alum and The Voice coach performed the song, from the documentary RBG, on the 91st Academy Awards telecast which aired on ABC (Feb 24).

RBG depicts the life of Supreme Court justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her life-long fight for voting rights. “I’ll Fight” was co-written by Diane Warren, who has penned a ton of hits over her 30+ year career for the likes of Laura Branigan, Aerosmith (“I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”), Leann Rimes (“How Do I Live”) Lady Gaga and more.  “I’ll Fight” was Warren’s 10th Oscar nomination without a win. Best song this year went to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for “Shallow” from their film A Star is Born.

Nevertheless, Jennifer is a perfect fit for the rousing number. Unfortunately, the arrangement here is short and choppy. But that’s showbiz! Do check out the singer’s magnificent dress. That train tho!
