It was announced today by producers that American idol alum and Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson, will perform on the 2015 Academy Awards telecast.
Jennifer won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for her role as Effie White in Dreamgirls.
The singer joins fellow Oscar performers Adam Levine, (set to perform “Lost Stars”), Common and John Legend (“Glory” from Selma), Tim McGraw (the Glen Campbell song “I’m Not Gonna Miss You”). British songstress, Rita Ora (“Grateful”) and Pitch Perfect’s Anna Kendrick.
The Oscars will air on CBS Sunday February 22, with Neil Patrick Harris slated to host.
