Idols In Concert – Stats – 06/02/16

Reality singers are spanning the continent. Bea Miller, who was a contestant on the second season of X-Factor US and finished 9th, was in London, Ontario. She was opening for Selena Gomez and DNCE (featuring Joe Jonas). Also in Ontario, but in Oshawa, were two Canadian Idols. Carly Rae Jepsen opened for Hedley whose lead singer is Jacob Hoggard. Then, we have two Idol auditioneers. Tori Kelly performed two concerts in California to sold out crowds while Lauren Daigle opened for Chris Tomlin for a sell-out in Florida.

Songs performed at the BB Music awards wsaw a 35% average lift that week (BB excludes new songs or songs affected by “complete my album”). Fifth Harmony performed “Work from Home” and ended up selling 73K that week for a 26% increase.

HDD reports that 1D’s Niall Horan is targeting next year to release his single. Simon Cowell’s SYCO is negotiating to keep him on his label. Niall is still with Modest! for management and he recently signed a partnership with them to find new Irish golf talent.
