Idols In Concert – Stats – 04/07/16

It appears to be National Report Your Concert Week because that was one massive report to pick through. Carrie Underwood was in the UK for a Country Music festival before returning to her regularly scheduled sold-out tour. The Swon Brothers from the Voice are opening for her.

Idol may have cancelled its tour, but X-Factor UK can still put butts in seats. They earned over a million dollars at the 02. Colton Dixon from Idol must be exhausted because he was everywhere opening for tobyMac (I know I’m exhausted just from collecting his stats). Remember Alex Newell from the “Glee Project” who went on to star on Glee? He was opening for Adam Lambert for his Vegas concert. Melanie Martinez from the Voice is selling out concerts as a headliner as is Carly Rae Jepsen from Canadian Idol. Finally, we have Scotty McCreery using his passport to give a concert to 4000+ in Ontario.

We are excitedly tracking the Idol songs this morning as they make their first serious dent in the charts. Trent’s “Falling” is currently leading the charge at 16 while MacKenzie Bourg (who didn’t even sing this week) released his original “Roses” last night and it is charging up fast at 19th. La’Porhsa’s “Battle” has fought its way to 44th and Dalton is sitting at 50th. Trent’s “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Drink You Away” are at 160 and 162 while La’Porsha’s “Elastic Heart” is at 488 and “Stay With Me” is 586. MacKenzie’s “Hallelujah” is 251 and “Heartbeat” is 626 and Dalton has “Dancing in the Dark” at 307 and “God Only Knows” at 394. How high can the Idols get in this final season?
