Fall Out Boy’s “American Beauty/American Pscyho” exceeds 200K in sales to top the chart which it easily holds on the combined chart. Taylor sticks at second for another week and Meghan slides from first to third (within the expected range of the drop for a second week). Joye Bada$$ takes fourth on both charts.
Former Idol judge Nicki Minaj makes a big move from the album chart to the combined chart and Mark Ronson makes an even more impressive move (up 22 spots). Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith moves up while Marilyn Manson and the Grammy Nominees move down on the combined charts. That makes sense because Ed and Sam have big singles out there (and Mark has the biggest with Bruno Mars) while rock fans buy albums and if you want to buy a track off of the Grammy compilation album, just buy it off the original album
One Direction and Ella Henderson moves up on the combined chart while Carrie moves down. As expected, Pop acts improve on combined charts, while Country acts don’t do quite as well/
