HDD final numbers are in and SURPRISE! Taylor Swift’s “1989” tops the chart. I bet nobody saw that coming. Ed Sheeran moves up to second but he is only selling 35K so that’s not a lot to get excited about. He only moved up because he dropped less than everybody else. Drops in the top 10 are in the 17% to 57% range. Rae Sremmurd (hip-hop duo) is the top new song at 5th with 33K in sales. Our second surprise of the week is that Taylor also tops the SPS chart. Ed gains more points from TEAs/SEAs than he did from album sales, but it doesn’t change his spot on the chart. One Direction is 10th on the sales chart and moves up to 9 on the SPS chart. Carrie Underwood is 16th and moves up to 15th.
