In a FOX 13 video report, Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGurardi in Denver, CO Friday to audition Idol hopefuls, talk about losing their former colleague, Paula Abdul.
Kara, dressed in black, mourns Paula, “She was the heart of the show, ” she says. Randy says he’s “shocked and sad.” Ryan wishes Paula the best. “I’m sad, ” says Simon, calling Paula his “best buddy.”
Ex Spice girl, Victoria Beckham, joined the panel in Denver as guest judge. (One gossip account describes her stint at “icy and wooden”. Love that purple dress she’s wearing, but damn Posh needs to eat a damn sandwich. Kara looks gorgeous in black…but I digress.)
Meanwhile, during Ryan’s interview, there’s a glimpse of what looks like the new audition room background.
That TPTB didn’t decide to hide Kris Allen–who overcame his status as cannon fodder to take it all–behind, like say, a plant (See: Hicks, Taylor) is a good sign, don’t you think?
