Former ‘Voice’ Contestant Tony Lucca Signs With Adam Levine’s Record Label – Tony Lucca may not have won season two of The Voice, but he left quite an impression on audiences — and coach Adam Levine. Not only did he have a special beef with his former Mickey Mouse Club co-star, Voice coach Christina Aguilera, but he also sang a memorable — and risky — version of Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time.” Lucca’s unorthodox choices have paid off it seems because Levine has signed the singer to his own record label, 222 Records. Lucca plans to release an album next year. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Nicki Minaj Admits She Had ‘Fears’ About Joining ‘American Idol’ – “It’s a milestone for me; it’s a milestone for hip-hop; it’s a milestone for young black women,” Nicki told MTV News, reflecting on the weight of her new gig. “Has there ever been a black woman [judging] on the show? This is a show that 20 million people watch so I feel like we should be represented on that show and I’m very proud of my decision to do it.” Her decision to accept the “Idol” position wasn’t an instantaneous one, but in the end it was the right one. “Of course I had doubts but I had to realize that my fears of doing the show came a lot from what I thought people would say,” she explained. “I had to really think and [realize that] a lot of decisions I’ve made in my career, people thought I was f—ing crazy and I made them, and I continue to make the hard decisions. I continue to make the decisions that people don’t have the balls to make. And that’s what separates me from everybody else.” – Read more at MTV

Bristol Palin May Win ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Thanks To Family, Says Donny Osmond – “I’m not going to go there because it’s not fair,” Osmond replied when I asked him who was going to win. “Believe me, I watch this religiously because of my history with them. I’m looking at all the names, except the wild card names, one, two, three, four, five, five names right now, I think they won’t make it. Because I’ve seen them, I know their personality, I know their motivation. It’s a lot of focus.” But Osmond has good news for Bristol Palin: He says that having family members attend the show helped him win. In fact, if it hadn’t been for an exchange with his son backstage, Osmond says he would never have won the big prize. – Read more at Huffington Post
