Former ‘Voice’ Contestant Tony Lucca Signs With Adam Levine’s Record Label – Tony Lucca may not have won season two of The Voice, but he left quite an impression on audiences — and coach Adam Levine. Not only did he have a special beef with his former Mickey Mouse Club co-star, Voice coach Christina Aguilera, but he also sang a memorable — and risky — version of Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time.” Lucca’s unorthodox choices have paid off it seems because Levine has signed the singer to his own record label, 222 Records. Nicki Minaj Admits She Had ‘Fears’ About Joining ‘American Idol’ – “It’s a milestone for me; it’s a milestone for hip-hop; it’s a milestone for young black women,” Nicki told MTV News, reflecting on the weight of her new gig. “Has there ever been a black woman [judging] on the show? Vulture has learned that Bernadette Peters is back as Ivy’s mom and expected to begin filming — and singing! — shortly.
