‘American Idol’ Taylor Hicks Extends Vegas Residency Through 2013 – The American Idol season five winner continues to hang with an elite list of stars on the Las Vegas Strip, as he signed a one-year extension of his residency at Bally’s Las Vegas through 2013. He returns to the Bally’s stage Wednesday, Oct. 17. Hicks has become a popular fixture on the Strip, said David Hoenemeyer, president of Bally’s Las Vegas. “Taylor was enormously successful in his first headlining engagement here at Bally’s this summer,” said Hoenemeyer. “Locals as well as tourists from around the nation flock to see him perform on the Vegas Strip, and we look forward to continued success both here in Las Vegas and at some of our other properties.” – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter
