  1. Jlo must have her stylist cut every single dress she wears to barely cover her asserts. Lol. If I had her legs, I would probably show then off too.

  2. Well he was still wearing them pretty darn tight so it couldn’t have bothered him too much! :D

  3. I’m thinking the only reason JLo and some others don’t show more than they do is because the law says they can’t. ;)

  4. Angie Miller is doing a Pledge Music drive to raise money for her EP. Her introductory video is JUST a little OTT on the drama, lol. She also says she turned down a label to make this EP independently. I’m guessing it was a CCM label?

Anyway, link to her Pledge Music campaign is here. Good luck to her with this project.:

  5. Her introductory video is JUST a little OTT on the drama, lol.

I’m guessing that the label she turned down was a CCM label.

Also, can you see how much money she’s trying to raise? All I see it is says she’s got 2% of her goal so far.

  6. Just thought I’d mention. Joan Rivers is in critical condition after having a cardiac arrest during throat surgery.

  7. That video is a huge turnoff- she’s not even believable portraying herself lol.

  8. Pepsi celebration in Ogden, UT featurung Phillip Phillips. Sings “Unpack Your Heart” at the end. Cute appearance of him in a food truck about midway.

Phillip Phillips: Thank You | Pepsi | #RealBigSum…:

  9. “Her introductory video is JUST a little OTT on the drama, lol.”

    Yeah. Just a little. Heh.

I don’t think she can help it – that Drama-Rama. I suppose there are probably people who don’t mind.

IDK what her target was on that page, and IDK what this genre is supposed to be – but I’ll guess CCM from that portentous tagline on the video about “This is what God has called me to do” – Alrighty then. Good luck.

  10. INTERVIEW: Chris Daughtry Talks Worldwide Success, Female Fans And The Downsides Of Social Media

Daughtry released their fourth album Tour aside, what would you say is next for the band? Have you started working on the next album yet?

No, I don’t think we’re going to be doing that anytime soon. This record was kind of like a labour of love for me and kind of took everything out of me, and even now when I listen to it, I don’t think that I could have done any better. I don’t really feel like picking up a guitar and writing another song, but I’m not saying we’re taking a hiatus. You’ve got to go home and deal with the people that you love for a little while and after this year we’re probably going to take time off with our families and figure out which direction we want to go in with the next record

  11. This record has not very well at all, at least not compared to his previous ones (last I saw it has around 55K sold) so I would think they will want to think long and hard about what direction to go in going forward. And maybe taking a break is a good thing.

  12. Very good interview from Chris. The only puzzlement was asking him about 5 Sec. to Summer and One Direction. That seems like a question to ask Bieber or Austin Mahone, lol. Don’t they appeal to the tweens and teens mostly? Can’t imagine too many adults or a Daughtry audience going to their concerts unless you are taking your kids. Why not ask him about Imagine Dragon of 30 Sec. to Mars? Otherwise it was good.

  13. I was also wondering if it could be time for his RCA contract to be renewed.

  14. 55k was the album’s opening week:

So it’s higher than that, and it had last year’s holiday selling season to help. But yeah, still way lower than his prior albums, plus WFS peaked lower than was ideal on radio and Battleships isn’t exactly roaring up the charts.

Putting some thought into what to do next musically seems entirely merited and sensible.

  15. TV Line’s statement is strange since “stable” isn’t a normal medical condition. Critical but stable or serious but stable would be.

  16. Hmm…

  17. Yup something is going on, I hope whatever it is works out for JD and we get to hear about it sometime soon :-)

  18. Yup. He’s being very cryptic. This one yesterday was a hint I think too with the “winky face”…

I’ve toured in busses. I’ve toured in vans. I’ve toured acoustic. I’ve toured with bands. ;)

  19. Rubben Studdard also has a kickstarter begining Sept. 1st.

Normal Hill Jubilee documentary KickStarter Launch

In this 60-minute feature length documentary, Ruben Studdard presents interviews with musical historians, celebrities and everyday people in exploring the Negro spiritual and what happened to them.

  20. Just over 100k now? I think not at all. I believe the latest total should be over 200k by end of this Aug.

As per a post in early Feb in Pulse Music Board, the estimated sum is over 170,000 based on Billboard sources.

Unable to paste the exact link – just google it.

  21. If that is based on official numbers it is all good then. Otherwise if it is merely fans’ estimates then we’ve to take it with a spoonful of salt. Take J.Sanchez for instance, some of her fans claimed on message boards and her YT videos that she sold more than 100k of her debut album in the US alone. We all know that the album disappeared after 3 weeks selling just over 20k copies…

  22. It’s an estimate from a poster who has Chris Daughtry as his avatar, so I’m guessing “fan.”

That doesn’t make it necessarily wrong. I think 100k is too low — it assumes virtually no sales after the first couple weeks, yet WFS was still climbing the radio charts after New Year’s.

A claim that went all the way to 250k, I’d want better proof for, but 150-170 feels plausible without even doing all the math.

Regardless of what number you pick in that range, Daughtry’s sales aren’t stabilizing as the band matures. Chris Daughtry really tried to update the sound, and the pay-off’s been kind of meh. Decompressing and getting some perspective before recording another album makes total sense to me.

  23. Jena basically confirms in that article that both Interscope and 19 have passed on her.
