Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson postpone Virginia gig – Pop rockers Maroon 5 and singer Kelly Clarkson have called off a joint gig in Virginia due to “scheduling conflicts”. Colton Dixon shoots “Never Gone” Music Video
Nashville’s FOX 17 was on set as American Idol season 11 alum, Colton Dixon, shot the music video for his Christian Contemporary hit, “Never Gone.” You can watch the news report HERE. – “An abandoned warehouse in Nashville is the backdrop for Colton Dixon’s first every music video shoot. Eric Walsh, who is directing the video, says it has a Tim Burton industrial feel to it. “When we found this location it felt like an old factory. We wanted to play that into his performance.” Colton takes the biblical story of the prodigal son as a storyline for his first music video.

Katharine McPhee says ‘no more’ to malaria – “It’s just interesting how sometimes you cross paths with people in your life,” reflected Katharine McPhee in a 2012 interview with CNN. The words continue to ring true for the actress and “American Idol” alumna. Over the past two years, McPhee has been working with the nonprofit organization, Malaria No More, to save the lives of children half a world away.
