When asked why they chose Pittsburgh, a producer said, “It’s one of the greatest cities on the eastern border. And we love Primanti Brothers!” That second reason is as good as any (yum. french fries on sammiches!)

Adam Lambert on New Album: “I Still Holler…It’s Just a Little Bit More Variety” – “I definitely wanted it to be about vocals. It was just about a different color vocal,” he tells ABC Radio about the new album. “It was about being more intimate, maybe making the listener feel like I was singing right into their ear in moments.” He adds, “I definitely dug a little lower into my range than I have in the past, and I still got my Adam signature wailing bits and I still holler, but it’s just a little bit more variety as far as the places that I go.” – Read more at ABC News Radio

Adam Lambert Talks Chasing ‘The Original High’ & The Funky, Housey Sound Of His New Album: Idolator Interview – Very cool. So before we jump into your new album, let’s touch on En Vogue — what was it about Funky Divas that clicked with you as a kid in the ’90s? AL: I mean, the vocals were * crazy! Those vocals were like…what? For me, around that time, I had been doing musical theater as a kid for so long and my perspective of music was based on soundtracks I had heard from musicals, and what I heard around my house, which was more like rock, ’70s kind of stuff. Kelly Clarkson’s Stepson Can’t Tell the Difference Between Her and Pink – Kelly Clarkson is famous for her powerful voice, but she says it’s not particularly distinctive. Case in point: Her eight-year-old stepson isn’t always sure when a song is hers. “For example, Pink came on the radio the other day and my eight-year-old [step]son said, ‘Oh my God , I love this song of yours! You have to do this one live!’” she told Britain’s Official Charts Company. “I’m no U2 or Annie Lennox – or Sia!” Clarkson, 33, instead classifies herself as a “chameleon,” who’s able to try out many different types of musical genres. Her style, she added, isn’t “100 percent definable as a single thing.” – Read more at ABC News

This is a fantasy land. The real world is crying on the bus right now. I don’t know what this is, but it’s good, whatever it is.” In addition to returning to the stage, Underwood also is back in the recording studio. On Monday, she shared a photo of herself on social media wearing headphones with the caption: “Is that new music I hear???” – Read more at the Tennessean
