24 Observations From 24 Hours on the Set of American Idol – Inside my television’s mindshare of serial killers and Scientologists, it’s comforting to know that once a week, Kieran dims the lights and J.Lo gets the goosies. American Idol — “bleak … now good again” — is my happy, peaceful place among murderers, Gallaghers, and Greek Zachary Quintos.
