Khloe Kardashian Odom Dishes Secrets From ‘X Factor’ – When Khloe Kardashian Odom signed on as a host of The X Factor, she thought it would be a walk in the park. But she didn’t anticipate a few things. One, the sobbing contestants make her verklempt. Two, the live audience is so loud, she feels like she’s yelling. Three, a producer is always barking into her earpiece. And four, her vision is so bad, the teleprompter looks blurry. This last setback is a potentially terrifying discovery to make 48 hours before your live TV debut, but Kardashian Odom found a solution (more on that later). Now she’s getting comfortable as the co-emcee on Fox’s singing Olympics, with judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Demi Lovato, and Britney Spears, and co-host Mario Lopez. Kardashian Odom spoke to Ramin Setoodeh about all things X Factor, from Ryan Seacrest’s tips on making Simon uncomfortable to the scene backstage. ‘Nashville’ Songs Light Up iTunes Charts – ABC’s Nashville isn’t burning up the ratings, but songs featured on the freshman country music soap are doing surprisingly brisk business. And according to label partner Big Machine Records (home to Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Reba McEntire), 702,000 digital downloads have been purchased as of Dec. 3, which a source estimates has netted the company $1 million. That’s nowhere near Glee numbers, but while Glee label Columbia is hawking cover tunes, Nashville’s music, curated by producer T Bone Burnett, is entirely original. – Read more at Hollywood Reporter

Off-screen, the Nashville-set country music soap secured what creator/showrunner Callie Khouri (Thelma & Louise) believes is a vote of confidence from the network after ABC kept the rookie series in its Wednesday at 10 p.m. slot after rumblings about a potential move to Sundays, where it could have been paired with sophomore soap Revenge. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter
