Chris and Sarah Sligh are about to have a baby.  Keira Lennon Sligh should be born within the next few hours!  Keira doesn’t want to leave mama’s womb, so Sarah is undergoing a C-section as we speak.  Chris tweets all about it HERE.

Clash of the Simons: Fuller and Cowell are gearing up to go head-to-head in the biggest battle of egos TV has ever seen

‘This will be a fight to the bitter end, ’ says one Hollywood producer who knows both men well. ‘For a long time Simon Cowell has lived in Simon Fuller’s shadow and he is deter-mined to show that he can build and launch a multi-million dollar brand in the United States.

‘This is not about money – both men have more money than they could spend in their lifetimes. This is about power, control and enormous egos. When I talked to Cowell the other day he said his money “wasn’t enough”. He wants to prove himself as a global player in the international television market.

’Friends say the last time the two men were in the same room was in May after the final of American Idol, a show created by Fuller, but starring Cowell.

VP Biden featured at Keating rally

Magnus, 20, also said her appearance had nothing to do with her support for a particular candidate.

She said she was in Philadelphia recording a song recently when a producer asked her whether she wanted to sing for the vice president.

“I said, ‘Vice president of what?'”

“This doesn’t have to do with my personal views, ” she added. “It’s out of respect for the vice president. It’s just an honor to be asked to do it.”

(Edward) Goreyfest to die for in Yarmouth

Even the Cape’s most famous Gorey fan, Siobhan Magnus, the “American Idol finalist” with a much-publicized “Ghastlycrumb Tinies” tattoo on her arm, was scheduled to make an appearance, Wolk said.

But fun and finery aside, the partygoers were there to catch a last glimpse of Gorey’s famous fur coat collection, scheduled to sell at auction in New York City Dec. 8.

Our first World Series winners, and they’re cute!

World Series of Costumes: The three winners of the contest at MLB.com/Halloween were announced during the third inning of Game 3 on FOX, with six additional runners-up featured as well on MLB.com. MLB Network will re-air the three winning photos Sunday during its pregame Halloween show. Selected by online fan voting as well as by celebrity judges Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest of FOX’s “American Idol” were Khalil from Kentucky (Yankees), Lydia from Wisconsin (Brewers) and Raegan from Texas (Rangers).

Fans uploaded pictures of their children 12-and-under, and MLB.com visitors voted en masse until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday. It was all about the kids.

Dermot O’Leary wants US X Factor job

He told Time Out: “It would be duplicitous of me to say that I wouldn’t be interested in it – of course I would. I do want to work out there.”

It is thought that Dermot will have to overcome a challenge from American Idol host Ryan Seacrest- who is also said to be under consideration for the post.

Dermot said of his rival: “He’s done a great job, the guy’s a workaholic. He’s got nerves of steel.”
