Wyclef Jean lands ‘Nashville’ role – So far, outside of cast member JD Souther and a few subtle cameos, “Nashville” has stuck to putting fictitious musical stars on screen rather than real-world ones. That’s set to change soon, as Wyclef Jean will appear in a multi-episode role on the ABC drama later this season. Jean – a singer-songwriter and producer best known for co-founding rap group the Fugees – will play a record label head on the show, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Jean shared the Nashville news (and photo of him on set with co-stars Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Rya Kihlstedt and Sam Palladio) last week, and returned to town on Monday to resume shooting. – Read more at Tennessean.com

However, as the date for our battle approached, something happened; a shift, of sorts. I got weird, he got weird. I began to think the producers and Cee Lo were spending more time coaching him to give him an advantage. He thought that I was trying to hog most of the song. I unhappily watched our friendship morph into something we didn’t recognize anymore. Mark Ballas Reunites with Ex-Girlfriend Pia Toscano – There are apparently no hard feelings between Mark Ballas and his ex-girlfriend, former American Idol contestant Pia Toscano. The pair, who split about a year ago after first stepping out together in April 2011, were happily reunited on Sunday afternoon at the annual Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween carnival in L.A.
