Tuesday is the day Lauren Alaina said she has anticipated since she first picked up a microphone: Her debut album, “Wildflower, ” hits stores across America.
“I’ve been dreaming of this since I was, like, 3 years old, ” the Rossville teenager said in a phone interview. “I can’t believe that it happened by the time I was 16. It’s mind-blowing.”

Jennifer Hudson pulls out of Michael Jackson tribute concert
Jennifer Hudson has been forced to pull out of the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales.
The ‘Spotlight’ singer was due to close tonight’s ‘Michael Forever’ gig at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium, but canceled her appearance due to “major production issues”.
Upon discovering that fans had not been informed of her last-minute exit, Hudson wrote on Twitter: “I would have thought they would have informed you all by now , so since they did not , I am. Thank u for your support.”

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert – Jennifer Hudson Left Us In the Lurch!
Jennifer Hudson’s no-show at the Michael Jackson tribute concert yesterday caught the show’s producers completely off-guard … especially since she was already paid to do the gig … this according to sources close to the show.
JHud tweeted Saturday afternoon she wouldn’t be doing the show — citing “major production issues.”
According to our sources, Hudson is claiming she felt the show’s producers didn’t give her enough time with the music she was supposed to be singing. According to our sources, Jennifer received her music the same time as all the performers.
Our sources say JHud signed her contract and was paid in full. A rep for Hudson confirms the reason she cancelled, but says producers “completely understood.” Our sources say that’s not the case at all.

David Cook to make return to Tulsa
Cook actually met Tedder behind the scenes on “Idol, ” and the pair developed a friendship, he said.
The Tulsa tie put them together, he said. Their mutual respect landed Cook with the powerpop ditty “The Last Goodbye, ” on his new album.
“I had heard he was from Tulsa, so when we got some time together, we just talked about Tulsa. It happened just like that, ” he said. The pair remained friends and eventually paired professionally, too. Cook said his Tulsa ties made the collaboration possible. That, and, you know, the whole “American Idol” thing.

“It was seriously like the end of the Footloose movie. Everybody down there, including Ryan and Julianne, were foot stopping and had their hands up, ” a party guest tells Us Weekly. “Julianne was so happy because apparently Ryan never dances and this was the exception he made for her, because he was so happy for her.”
