Country Stars Take Over “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”

A private school outside Nashville that had been devastated by the flood in May is being rebuilt this week. Filming started Friday and runs through this Saturday, September 18. ABC won’t reveal who the country stars are. But, there’s a good chance Carrie Underwood is one of them.

She recently changed her next Grand Ole Opry performance from this Friday, September 17th to Thursday, September 16th. The Opry says it’s so the concert can be filmed for a show on Nashville’s recovery. Sounds like it could be ”Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!”

Breathitt County Shooting Victim Appeared In Episode Of “American Idol”

The details continue to horrify the small Jackson community in Breathitt County after a shooting incident over the weekend that left six dead, including the alleged gunman. In a tragic coincidence, one of the victim’s recently appeared to be doing what she could to help get her family on the right track.

It’s a program that helps family’s in poorer communities help their children, and shooting victim Teresa Fugate saw the importance in the program, and her love and support made her family a perfect model for the “Save The Children” program. The entire country got to see Fugate’s dedication to her four young children with actress Jennifer Garner during a segment on American Idol.

It’s been almost seven years since Diana DeGarmo, then a Snellville teen, lit up “American Idol, ” a popular television singing competition. X Factor ultimatum: ITV make Simon Cowell £24m take it or leave it offer

Simon Cowell has been offered a whopping £24million deal by frustrated ITV… but warned that’s it.

Executives tabled the 11th hour “take it or leave it” package in the hope it would tie the 50-year-old mogul to the station for the next three years.

Only last week Cowell admitted he is prepared to dump both X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, sending shockwaves around ITV’s London headquarters.

Video: Mark Salling’s ‘Pipe Dreams’ Become Reality; Matthew Morrison ‘Proud’ of ‘Glee’

Monday night at the Fox Fall Eco-Casino Party, benefiting Habitat for Humanity, Salling told us about some of his extracurricular activities.

“It’s called ‘Pipe Dreams, ‘” said the actor, referring to his new album that comes out October 12. “It’s a compilation of tracks that I selected from a library of 50 or more that I compiled over the last eight years.”

Matthew Morrison also graced us with his presence and filled us in on a few details about the upcoming season. We asked Matthew about “Glee”‘s forthcoming episode paying homage to ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show.’ “We’re actually filming it right now, ” Morrison told us. “Adam Shankman is directing it. It’s a lot of fun. It’s a really, really, really crazy episode.”
