Snooping on Mama Sox

Crystal Bowersox has every right to sing the blues about nosy state employees snooping into confidential government databases for dirt on her. If the American Idol runner-up from northwest Ohio can fall victim to such an abuse of public trust, it can happen to any other Ohioan.

No citizen should be subject to prying by employees on the public payroll just because they have access to personal information and idle curiosity to satisfy.

  1. Another Toddrick video! These videos are pretty smart because the first of this series has over 770,000 views after 3 months. And the group he brings along gets bigger every time.

  2. apparently David Cook & Neal Tiemann had dinner with Steve vanZandt from Bruce Springsteen’s band last night: [from twitter]

  3. From @crystalbowersox twitter:

I cn’t believe my 1 gig out of idol is opening for Michael Franti and spearhead, at the Historic Fillmore, and its all for a great cause!

  4. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but it sure sounded like someone was shouting “Archie!” as Aaron Kelly passed by in the horse-drawn carriage during his parade in that first video. LOL.

  5. I saw (and met twice) Danny Gokey last night in concert :) He puts on a fantastic show — I would recommend seeing him to anyone!

Love your pics! I’m putting together a post for tomorrow (probably) with videos/etc from the Vermont State Fair and anything that shows up from Danny’s event today in Cleveland.

If you’d like me to post some of your pics in the post, let me know!

  6. BigNLiddle, thanks for sharing those pictures of Danny…they are great!

I have had the opportunity to see Danny live as well and agree with you that he does put on a fantastic show…I would definitely recommend going if you get the chance.

Thanks Steph…I always look forward to your Danny threads! Can’t wait to check it out!

  8. BigNLiddle:

Very nice black & white pics of Danny; you are a great photographer.

Glad you had a chance to see Danny in Vermont- he truly is impressive live and a lot of fun.

It’s nice you were able to meet him too; isn’t he the sweetest? I saw a video of one song he did yesterday and was laughing at the girls in the front row (must have been younger) handing him all those “silly bands”-he carefully took every one of them and put them around his wrist as he was singing, lol.

  9. > hmmmmm I wonder if Todrick would have done better on XFactor?

Either that, or America Got Talent? He was entertaining but should have had all matters cleared before the show started. But people at least have heard of him which is something he didn’t have before.

  11. Aaron is a nice kid. What happened to his hair?

OMG! That’s what I am wondering! His hair looked like this for the last concert in Indianapolis and I thought it was just a temporary prank kind of thing. I had no idea it was going to stay this way!

  12. Great for Lee to spend some time with his “celebrity crush” Joss Stone!

I hope some video of Lee’s karaoke “Ain’t No Sunshine” surfaces – it was evidently live streamed, but I guess the Village Underground would have to edit the evenings footage!

  13. Kris is taking in some college football today watching his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks in Little Rock. Why couldn’t he get better seats?

  14. waiting for vids of Aint No Sunshine to surface!!!
aaand Claude Kelly and Lee seem to pretty happy with what theyre recording! which makes me happy =]

also..it seems like Aaron’s hair colour is changing everyday

  15. Great picture of Kris at the game! Good tickets for home games would have been sold out a long time ago, probably long before he knew what his September schedule was. The whole family planned to go together. I’m glad they have this time to relax before he goes overseas to entertain the troops in Europe. He’s certainly dressed to blend in!

  16. so Kris is watching football and David Cook’s watching baseball today – DC’s latest twitter –
“Got to see a Mets win, as well as David Wright and Mike Sweeney! Great game! Now off to find dinner and some rehearsal for tomorrow “

Thank you! I feel bad that he went to Rutland, VT of all places — I live in Burlington, and the further south you go, the more “hickish” people are. I told Danny that he should have came last weekend when Kris was here.

There was only a crowd of about 100, 150 people there last night. I felt bad :( But because of this, about halfway through the show, he told everyone – including the people in the bleachers – to come down as close as they could to the stage. That’s how I ended up in front row! Otherwise, I would have been in fourth. ;)

I hope this link works – it’s to the rest of my photos that I took last night. Feel free to use – with credit of course – where ever needed :D

  19. bringing this over from Kris thread. Ad for his USO show on USAG base in the Netherlands on 9/29

I wonder if Kris will to the same tour locations as Bucky Covington did last year.

    USO tour dates are:
Feb. 17 – Kosovo Camp Bondsteel
Feb. 19 – Netherlands U.S. Army Garrison Schinnen (Kris 9/29)
Feb. 20 – Germany U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern
Feb. 21 – Germany U.S. Army Garrison Schweinfurt
Feb. 23 – Germany U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart

ETA: Bucky had his band with him including his twin brother

  20. I think Aaron dyed his eyebrows too!

Imkhemari, you’re right! Yikes. His hair is too dark to go blonde so now it looks orange. I tried to do this to my son’s hair once and this is how it turned out. We had to then pay a LOT of money to have it fixed.

also..it seems like Aaron’s hair colour is changing everyday

nabs, maybe they’ve tried bleaching it several times and it just keeps turning a lighter orange. He needs to go back to his original color.

Ha ah- that’s funny!! That’s what happens when you come from a small town!! No doubt Kris is highly embarrassed about this but maybe secretly chuffed as well!!
