Collecting celebrity spokeswomen is not the Weight Watchers way. In its history, there have been only four celebrity spokeswomen for the company: Lynn Redgrave, Jenny McCarthy, Sarah Ferguson and, now, Ms. Hudson, who said she has lost 80 pounds on the plan.
They have been approached by other well-known clients, Ms. Callan said, “but we have passed on a number of people who were shopping themselves around. That’s not the sort of person we want to work with. When we first started talking to Jennifer, we needed to believe that she would really be willing to embrace the program and change the way she ate forever. I am quite confident that we won’t need to part ways with Jennifer.”

‘Glee’ joins Anna’s Night Out
Sources told Page Six that “Glee” cast members will act as spokespersons for the worldwide shopping initiative spearheaded by Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour. During the event, participating stores offer special products, discounts and extend normal shopping hours.
“Glee” stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss and others will appear at retail locations from New York to Los Angeles, insiders said. For the first time this year, e-commerce sites, including Net-a-Porter, Shopbop and others, will also participate.

Doctor’s orders at Sony label
Doug Morris’ latest prescription to breathe new life into Sony Music is to get a doctor in the house. He’s finalizing a five-year deal to create a new company with uber-producer Dr. Luke which sources say could be worth up to $60 million.
Dr. Luke, a k a Lukasz Gottwald, is behind a string of top 10 hits for Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson, including “California Gurls, ” “Party in the USA, ” “Tik Tok, ” “Hold It Against Me” and “Since U Been Gone.”
Luke’s label, Kemosabe Entertainment, is already based at Sony’s RCA. But the new deal would vastly expand his role at the conglomerate. He is also behind music publishing companies Kasz Money Productions and Prescription Songs.

“It is exactly like old times, which is both good and negative. There are times when I could literally throttle Paula, and there are times when I’ve had the best time of my life, ” Cowell told FOX411’s Pop Tarts while on a recent photo shoot promoting the FOX show.
“She’s just got that ability. She can be fantastic and the most annoying person in the world, in the space of five seconds. That’s Paula, but she’s been great, ” he said. “I love having her on the show and she’s been a really good judge. I think the chemistry with her and Nicole Scherzinger is great.”
