‘South Gala’ draws Hollywood actors to Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – Little Rock will roll out the red carpet for a handful of Hollywood stars – including Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman – for a Saturday evening event celebrating Southern culture and art and hosted by The Oxford American magazine.

Hollywood A-lister Morgan Freeman will accept The Oxford American’s inaugural award for Outstanding Contributions to Southern Culture. The actor, who was born in Memphis, Tenn., and lives outside of Clarksdale, Miss., was an easy choice for the magazine’s staff, Sabin said.

Kris Allen, the reigning American Idol and an Arkansas native, will perform at the gala.

Source: Simon Cowell to Wed in 2011

Insiders, along with his very strong PR team, have stressed that Cowell’s relationship with Hussainy is the real deal and that he is inches away from declaring his love and marriage plans within weeks. The “Idol” judge is not known to show his affections in public, but openly kissed his new squeeze on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last month.

The romance, though, won’t come to marriage until at least summer 2011. Why then? One insider said, “[Cowell] is the king of spin and knows that a great love story will help sell the U.S. version of [‘X Factor’].

The source added, “Expect no wedding this year at all – 2011 is the year of Simon in the U.S. and he will pull out all the stops needed to become an even bigger success.”

Idolatry’: What is American Idol’s woman problem? And why is Season 9 like ‘Theme Park Idol’?

American Idol’s ninth season was supposed to be all about the ladies. Or at least that’s what early interviews from the show’s judges — and early impressions from the audition rounds and Hollywood Week — led us to believe. But now we’re down to the top 9, and only three ladies remain: Crystal Bow!Er!Sox!, Siobhan Magnus, and two-time bottom-three finisher Katie Stevens. So what exactly went wrong? My cohost Annie Barrett and I tackle this tough question, and also engage in a spirited discussion about which contestants seem destined to wind up as theme-park employees (not that that’s a bad way to make a living, mind you). We also examine the season 9 trajectories of Lee Dewyze and Casey James, and dish how the judges still can’t bring themselves to utter the name of the show’s season 8 champ. (Memo to Simon: Kris finished first, Adam finished second, and guess what? They’re both still winners. Or perhaps you’re still smarting that you wagered two-thirds of your chips on Lil and Danny? Uh-huh, I went there!)

‘American Idol’ castoff Alex Lambert: ‘If I Can Dream’ will show people ‘the real me’

It’s a little after noon on Friday in Los Angeles, and Alex Lambert rolled out of bed five minutes ago. The American Idol season 9 castoff was up until 4:30 a.m. taking Twitter song requests live from fans as they watched him on If I Can Dream, the Web reality series that follows six people trying to make it in Hollywood as actors, singers, and models. The show is available in episodic installments every Tuesday via Hulu, but also offers viewers Big Brother-style access to the house with a 24/7 video feed. But much like BB’s live stream, there are well-noted lulls in action. Large ones. Starting this week, the show pumped up the action a little bit with a new Idol-centric feature. Every week, the housemates will have the person voted off the show over for dinner the Friday following their elimination. Yesterday, they dined with Didi Benami.

Alex Lambert’s shock and awe at post-‘Idol’ ‘Dream’: ‘I felt like I actually had a chance’

It’s not every day you get to witness the start of a new life. We’re not talking “Special Delivery” jargon here, but rather a second chance to see your dream come true, no matter how far-fetched it may have seemed a year, a month or even a week ago.

That was the prevailing emotion felt by all who were present when “American Idol” Top 24 castoff Alex Lambert entered his new home high atop the Hollywood Hills. Joining the cast of the Web reality show “If I Can Dream” as the sixth, well, dreamer, 19-year-old Alex was greeted by his new roommates, Justin Gaston, Giglianne Braga, Kara Kilmer, Amanda Phillips and Ben Elliott, with open arms. Although the conversation was a tad awkward at first (in the dreamers’ defense, there were more than a handful of observers, yours truly included, just milling about, and staring), once Alex got the guitar out and delivered a bit of that blue-eyed soul, everybody relaxed and settled in.

Typically, when a reporter profiles a hot, up-and-coming star, the interview is held in some sort of conference room or public space, the questions tightly circumscribed, a publicist standing at the ready to intervene if the conversation drifts into any danger zone.

TMZ has learned Erin Andrews has been the target of several recent death threats, and the FBI is now on the case.

Our sources say three emails were sent to “The Dan Patrick Show” — a sports talk show which airs on both radio and TV.

Sources tell us the emails — sent on March 26, 29 and 30 from a man in Newport News, VA. — are direct threats against Andrews. One reads, “Somebody should shoot her in the face.”

A second email says, “I’m one in a million. She’ll never see me coming.”

TMZ has learned the FBI is now on the case. As for ESPN’s Andrews, there is increased security on the set of “Dancing with the Stars.”

  2. “Live Like We’re Dying” tops the new Christian Digital Songs chart & Christian/Gospel Digital Songs.

In what way is LLWD a Christian song?

  3. In what way is LLWD a Christian song?

I think it’s because it charts on christian AC radio. IMO, it’s a good enough reason.

  4. They don’have to be singing about God to be a Christian song. One time I was traveling between my hometown and and another and I thought i found this really good alt station only to find out it was a Christian one. I must have been listening to it for an hour before I realized it. Bands like Switchfoot, Creed and Evanescence have been played on Christian stations and at different times thought of as Christian bands.

  5. I don’t listen to Christian stations but I can see the message in LLWD. Redeem yourself before it’s too late sounds like something you might hear in a sermon. Couldn’t the words ‘no one left to call’ mean, make sure you can call on God at your final moments. Actually, while there is nothing preachy about the song, I always thought there was a worthwhile message in it. JMHO

  6. A lot of the “Christian” stations market themselves as “family-friendly” programming. They run various songs that are just positive-oriented popular songs. I assume LLWD is getting played in that vein.

Danny’s music video is #2 and #10 this week on the CMT Pure and GAC fan-voted countdowns, respectively. He also moved up two spots to #16 on the big CMT channel’s Top 20 (non-fan-voted) countdown. Sounds like he had a good event at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach last night.

dannygokey: FANTASTIC show tonight in Myrtle Beach!!!! The crowd was soooo HOT!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I’m hyper right now-Good shows make me hyper!

someone on twitter {not a regular Danny twitter fan I recognize} seems to agree, lol

had a A-M-A-ZI-N-G time at the HOB!! danny gokey was great and was a ball of energy

Curious how big a crowd turned out, read that the venue holds up to 2200. If he got anywhere close to half that, great for Danny. Danny has another headlining event tonight at a performing arts center in the Smokey Mountain area of NC.

  7. Bill Gates, huh? Heh, they should totally work on getting Steve Jobs onboard, too, and have them do a sketch together. I’m a Mac…I’m a PC…

  8. In what way is LLWD a Christian song?

Around the holidays Father Beck from ABC News chose this song as one of two current songs with a strong message, and worth listening to. I don’t have a link to the broadcast, but I definitely remember it. Congrats to Kris on the two Billboard #1’s.

  9. KRIS ALLEN’s first two Billboard #1s make him the 25th Idol contestant to top a Billboard chart.

that comes up as a surprise to me this morning. I haven’t seen that coming! But i’m not surprised, the song has a great message.
    I’ll take any #1 for Kris anytime :D ….Congrats

and it’s still climbing on the hot AC… #3 …NICE

  10. 1. Simon Cowell is timing his wedding to give a bump to X-Factor. Wow. The biz is woven into the fiber of his being.

    2. Live Like We’re Dying has crested and is just starting to fall. Where the heck is the next single? (I hate Jive Records. With the play on the Ford commercials they should have issued Alright With Me by now. Jive issued David Archuleta’s second single about 2 months too late and the album died right there. I don’t get Jive at all.)

    3. Great to see Alex Lambert getting some press. But having to live in that house to get it? Whoa.

    4. Is Joe Munoz gay? That q&A w/Todrick Hall was weird.

    5. Miss Didi on the show already.

  11. Congrats to Kris for going to #1 on these Billboard charts! And yay for it moving up to #3 on Hot AC chart

LLWD is a pop song, but likely appeals to Christian radio for 2 reasons — (1) its message about living every day to its fullest, and (2) Kris’s own background as a worship leader/missionary

  12. Bands like Switchfoot, Creed and Evanescence have been played on Christian stations and at different times thought of as Christian bands.

Daughtry and Carrie Underwood have both appeared on the Christian charts. Watch for Danny, I bet he ends up there too.

  13. Danny appears in an interview here in a segment related to an event in Knoxville. Not sure how Danny became involved with their arts festival gala, but he performed at a country music venue there Thursday night. Danny appears about half-way into the tv clip (right after the bellydancer, lol).

Kelly and Reba sound good on that song. Maybe it’s just the perspective in that video, but don’t love that too-tight (almost uncomfortable-looking) outfit Kelly is wearing, though.

Daughtry and Carrie Underwood have both appeared on the Christian charts. Watch for Danny, I bet he ends up there too.

I think Danny has songs on his album that could cross over to Christian markets, and some HAC possibly. Certain stations in both of those niches have asked to interview Danny and at least sampled his songs when he’s been on the country radio tour. But it seems to have been initiated from their side, and not part of any strategy his team has to this point. Expect in time, RCA will encourage cross-over. But right now they seem extremely focused on positioning and marketing Danny to get set up with a solid foundation in the country genre. Third appearance at the Opry this month, constant visits & events with country radio stations, only the one national tv appearance so far leveraging his AI ties, etc.

“Live Like We’re Dying” tops the new Christian Digital Songs chart & Christian/Gospel Digital Songs.

In what way is LLWD a Christian song?

TuPac and Muse are on the Vatican playlist, so I think having Kris’ ‘Live Like We’re Dying’ on a Christian/Gospel list isn’t far fetched. It’s music with a positive message.

Congrats to Kris on being #1 on two Billboard lists. Also pleased to see he’s still moving up on HAC. I hear LLWD on the radio every time I’m out driving. The DJ’s on myfm (KBIG) in LA seem to love him. One of them was gushing about going to the Hard Rock to see him with Keith Urban this month.

  15. In what way is LLWD a Christian song?

Sometimes it seems like any song with a positive message and no profanity or sex can wind up labeled a Christian song.

Daughtry and Carrie Underwood have both appeared on the Christian charts. Watch for Danny, I bet he ends up there too.

I wouldn’t be surprised about Danny either MJ; although I don’t think it will be the current single since although Focus On the Family gave the album a thumbs up/good review they thought that one of the lyrics on the song (“I’ve got lovers to kiss”) was questionable. I know they are pretty conservative; but I still had a good laugh thinking about Danny being “risque”, lol.

There are two others that could wind up there from My Best Days, IMO, particularly Kara’s written song “I Still Believe”, which BTW I really love, even though I never listen to ‘Christian music’. Its a great head boppin song, she redeemed herself in my eyes after NoBo. Does Strut on Adam’s album make his fans happy?

  16. I would think there will be some more #1’s from Idols on these new Billboard charts. The tweet says Billboard has introduced 21 new digital genres charts. And I would think that someone like Mandisa or Phil Stacey or Ruben will do well on these new Christian/Gospel charts. I would also bet that several of the songs on Danny’s album will eventually get pushed to Christian radio, so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he ends up being on these charts eventually as well.

I would pay big bucks to see that!!!! It would make sense since Apple is so heavily involved in Idol.

On Simon holding out for a 2011 wedding so he can get publicity for X-Factor. How romantic.

  18. I saw that the LLWD has been retired from being eligible for the VH1 Countdown, even though it was #4 last week. Hopefully ths is a sign that the 2nd single is imminent. BTW, I didn’t see where the Idols finished on this week’s countdown — does anyone have that info? Thanks

  19. Didn’t see it myself, just heard both Daughtry and Kris were off the countdown and Adam was #2 ( Telephone #1)

  20. I saw that the LLWD has been retired from being eligible for the VH1 Countdown, even though it was #4 last week.

Once again, I feel like the dumbest kid in class. How does a song get retired from being eligible? Since the voting is done by the public, I had no idea the labels had any say in what was eligible. How about when you write in a song choice…..does if have to be an ‘eligible’ song to be counted?

But I am relieved to know LLWD was retired and not just losing votes that quickly.

  21. Does anyone know if VH1 has been advertising Adam’s Unplugged episode on TV?

  22. aww, from Evan Farmer of CMT Top 20. He seems to be having quite the bromance with Danny after his recent interview. This is at least the third (?) nice thing he has said about Danny on his twitter or FB.

  23. That Todrick interview is sooooo not good. How is it that they can throw Joe Munoz under the bus that way. I wonder if he said it was okay to do that???

I had a great suspicion that Todrick was gay, and I don’t have a large gaydar detector system. I NEVER KNEW that Adam was gay last season, even after I saw the pictures of him kissing that guy, I still didn’t get that vibe from him. And to this day the only time I think about it, is when I read it somewhere, because he doesn’t “project” the “look at me, I am gay” vibe, but Todrick reeks of gayness to “me”…

  24. aww, from Evan Farmer of CMT Top 20. He seems to be having quite the bromance with Danny after his recent interview.

Thanks Steph! Reminded me to tweet Evan to thank him for the fun interview. Very relaxed. Evan is a cutie himself and he did sure seem to like Danny, calling his album fantastic.

  25. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised to see Danny end up on the Christian AC chart at some point.

  26. LLWD was on the voting poll for this week’s results. Is it retired or is it gone because it did not make the Top 20 this week? Does anyone know?

  27. According to the info on the Billboard.Biz site, LLWD has been #1 on these charts the last couple weeks. I wonder why the info is just being publicized now?

  28. JudyL

I believe it is VH1 that decides when to pull videos from the countdown — usually after they have been on the countdown for 20 weeks. But they may also be pulled if the record label informs them a new single and/or music video is about to be released. I think the FYE video was pulled from being eligible for the countdown around the same time the WWFM single and music video came out.

  29. Once again, I feel like the dumbest kid in class. How does a song get retired from being eligible? Since the voting is done by the public, I had no idea the labels had any say in what was eligible. How about when you write in a song choice…..does if have to be an ‘eligible’ song to be counted?

It was weird how the video for FYE just disappeared. At the time, many thought that VH1 was probably making way for the WWFM video.

I don’t think votes are the only thing that keeps videos on the VH1 playlist. It has been reported that they take chart position and iTunes into consideration when ranking the most popular videos.

On a positive note, Yay! for another great ranking for WWFM! #2 !!!

  30. According to the info on the Billboard.Biz site, LLWD has been #1 on these charts the last couple weeks. I wonder why the info is just being publicized now?

    Warning: Total Speculation

We do know that Billboard does test runs on it’s new charts. Weeks before it publicizes the chart, it starts tracking it. To shake the bugs out of it and make sure it makes sense.

So, perhaps it was #1 on the tracking charts?

Or maybe since it’s a new chart (and not one of the big formats), it might have gotten ignored. Whatever, he’s added to the Idol #1 total and that’s kind of cool.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t these the first #1s on BB for S8?

  31. Adam had a radio interview with gaydarradio.
They talked a lot about Idol and Adam said for the show, the questionnaire asked his sexual preference, he answered homosexual so the producers knew from the beginning.

Why would they ask your sexual preference on an application for AI? I wonder how many people have lied about that question? LOL
Good for Adam for stating the truth from the beginning.

  32. Boy … I don’t know if someone has posted this, but I love this. My thoughts exactly.

Several times, in fact. It’s old news.

If this has been posted already, just ignore me.

Yep. Posted in headlines yesterday…above the fold. :).

  33. Why would they ask your sexual preference on an application for AI? I wonder how many people have lied about that question? LOL
Good for Adam for stating the truth from the beginning.

Contestants who make Hollywood have to fill out a long and intrusive questionnaire. That’s when the producers do background checks, as well. So, lying would be a really bad idea.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Awesome. Kris has a great sense of humor!

  37. Contestants who make Hollywood have to fill out a long and intrusive questionnaire. That’s when the producers do background checks, as well. So, lying would be a really bad idea.

I remember reading that a couple of contestants from season 1 lied about this question. I guess you can’t blame them. How did they know if Idol would decide against selecting them based on their answer to this question.

It’s not like a question about a criminal past or doing porn movies. People keep their sexual preference hidden for years. (Ricky Martin, NPL, etc.) I’m sure many, many contestants have not been truthful on this question. Ooh- I wonder if Clay Aiken told the truth?

I wonder if they ask if how many sexual partners you’ve had or if you’ve ever cheated on your spouse if your married. I wonder if they ask the teens if they’re virgins? Have you had vd? Have you participated in a sex-tape? Have you inhaled? LOL

  38. Congrats to Kris!!!! And to having more successes and joys to come! I’m so happy for him!!

  39. Did this have anything to do with a peeing incident? LOL

Makes sense that they knew from the start that Adam was gay. And that’s why he got to be roomates on the show with the only married guy of the lot.

    That actually makes sense.

Sure is good to see him here again.

  42. And that’s why he got to be roomates on the show with the only married guy of the lot.

ohhh never thought of it like that. Interesting. Funny though that Adam said Kris is the only one he found cute. :-)
So, has Idol ever had a lesbian on the show?

  43. Yay Kris! That song just keeps on giving. Though I’m with MJ in wondering: when the heck are they going to release another single from the album? what are they waiting for?

My pick would “All Right With Me” — they’ve had a great tease of it on those Ford ads, and it’s catchy as all get-out.

So what’s up with his fershluggener label?

Makes sense that they knew from the start that Adam was gay. And that’s why he got to be roomates on the show with the only married guy of the lot.

    Sarver is married too.

  45. Sarver is married too.

    oh yes, true!
I guess the other additional reason would be that they were both in group 2 and seemingly getting along

  46. I remember Kris’ lock-up story too. He said there was a mix up with a speeding ticket he hadn’t paid and when the Idol producers called him, like the day before he was going to Hollywood, he had to go “turn himself in” and prove he’d paid it. Sounded very stressful. Especially having someone you don’t know suddently know things you didn’t know about yourself…

  47. On the roommate question, would they really care how they pair people up?
I just always assumed that was pretty random, or some system serving the interest of the show. Hadn’t figured they’d care if the contestants got along or not when making the roommate decisions (short of fistfights or other mayhem potential, I mean).

  48. From what I remember Adam said he had a different roommate until his got the boot. Then after a few days of having the room to himself the producers put Kris in with him. This was before Top 13. Adam said that when they moved into the mansion they decided since they got on so well they would just keep sharing a room.

  49. It’s my understanding that Kris and Adam became roommates after the Group 2 eliminations. Adam had been rooming with Nick/Norman and Kris with Matt, but after Nick/Norman and Matt didn’t make it out of Group 2, they weren’t supposed to keep staying with the other Idols. So that meant Kris and Adam were left without roommates. Then either they decided on their own or the producers decided to have them room together. Then, since they got along so well, they simply kept that arrangement when the Top 13 moved from the hotel into the mansion.

    Lorismile

As to whether there’s ever been a lesbian on Idol? I would guess yes, likely several, but no one who has come out publicly (that I know of, anyway)

  50. Of course, the roommate thing always strikes me funny anyway. You’d think with as much money as the show makes, they could put the people up in their own rooms. If not before, at least once they got through Hollyweek week.

  51. Of course, the roommate thing always strikes me funny anyway. You’d think with as much money as the show makes, they could put the people up in their own rooms. If not before, at least once they got through Hollyweek week.

I agree. I can see them being flatmates (sharing a condo with two rooms), but I don’t get the roommates thing. I can see them doing it on other shows to create “drama”, but we don’t have behind the scenes stuff on AI so give them some privacy. Sheesh. I never been on a business trip where I was expected to share a room with anybody. The last time we saw the ad rates, AI pulled in $900K per 30 second commercial. That’s more than enough money to be able to afford a room per person.

  52. the roommate thing always strikes me funny anyway. You’d think with as much money as the show makes, they could put the people up in their own rooms.

While I know Idol doesn’t believe in sharing the wealth with the contestants, I really doubt that is the reason for the sharing rooms. I know they don’t have a lot of free time, but when they do go to their rooms, I think it is really good that they have someone to share their thoughts and feelings with. They always seem to become friendly with whoever they room with so probably a lot of venting goes on. Beats being alone in a room, wide awake unable to sleep, worrying, no one to talk to.

So even if the miserly PTB are doing it to save money, I think it is a good thing.

  53. ““Live Like We’re Dying” tops the new Christian Digital Songs chart & Christian/Gospel Digital Songs.

In what way is LLWD a Christian song?”

I listen to a combination Christian/ Family radio station & whilst some songs are notably “Christian” many are generic but all tend to have positive lyrics without the sexual aggression & swearing that many other songs have. So LLWD would fit very well on a Christian chart – it has a great message for everyone – to make the most of each day .
So congrats to Kris for being No. 1!!

  54. I have been seeing tweets from people sayting that Kris’s Ford commercials are running during the NCAA Final 4 or at least the “all you have to do is talk” one. I think others have said that they have been playing on other networks also. AWM next single? Can’t beat free promo from a national commercial ad.

  55. Nope from what I remember Adam said he got the “cute one” up front.

  56. Adam on new jersey turnpike billboard!

I think that might be old…from Christmas. Z100 is in NY not Boston.

  57. Wait, wasn’t it Todrick that they showed chatting up the bikini girls at the pool during Hollywood week? I’m confused…

RE: LLWD as a Christian song. As many have said already, the overall message is what’s important to Christian FM radio. There is a radio network called Air 1; “The Positive Alternative” is their tagline. they play music with a positive message. Of course most of it is either Christian music, or from Christian bands, but you’ll also hear songs like LLWD, that contain a positive message.

  58. Wait, wasn’t it Todrick that they showed chatting up the bikini girls at the pool during Hollywood week? I’m confused…

You’re right, it was Todrick – it was such an uncomfortable moment. He basically asked those girls, “Would your parents mind you dating me cause I’m black?”

I was like, Todrick, their parents would mind their daughter dating you cause you are gay!

  59. Great photo of Kris at today’s Oxford American gala. He cleans up nicely, huh? (and is that a soul patch under the lip?)

    http://twitpic.com/1czz56

No Kris, I don’t like the soul (?) patch or whatever under your lip. :( This is just a one time thing, right ? Please shave it next time. Thanks.

It’s like Apollo Anton Ohno thing and I don’t like it.

  60. On my Direct TV schedule, Letterman w/ Didi is on Tuesday night 4/6.
The one on Monday night is a rerun.

I hope that Didi can make the most of being the 10th AI.
I like her, but really she needs to move on and be less emotional.
It’s OK to dedicate a song to her friend, but her emotion screws up her live singing and she can’t do that in concert.

  61. Makes sense that they knew from the start that Adam was gay. And that’s why he got to be roomates on the show with the only married guy of the lot.

Or maybe that TPTB saw that there won’t be problems if you pair an out there personality guy (and that is not a diss) and a really laid back personality guy. Or maybe I thought I saw an interview that the contestants decided that they got along well so they decided to room together. Who knows ? Maybe a combination of all.

One thing I know is that in No Way did they foresee that those 2 would become the top 2.

  62. Adam album is #8 in Sweden, #7 in New Zealand, and #8 in Japan on ITunes Pop Chart
WWFM is #4 in Sweden, #3 in New Zealand, #4 in Finland, #6 in Australia and #15 in US on the ITunes Pop Chart
    WOOT

  63. So, has Idol ever had a lesbian on the show?

Vanessa Olivarez from Season 2 for sure. Although, I’m sure there are others.

“RE: LLWD as a Christian song. As many have said already, the overall message is what’s important to Christian FM radio. That may be. But, it’s a bit interesting that it’s considered a Christian song when it was written by two guys who also wrote, “Prayin’ to a god that I don’t believe in…” :) But, I do get why it’s played on Christian radio.

  65. Danny seems pretty excited about the last three back-to-back shows in Knoxville TN, House of Blues at Myrtle Beach, and now one at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in western NC.

dannygokey: Franklin NC, Rocked out tonight!! Thanx 2 all my fans who made this week & all the shows so special!! Enjoy the holidays with your family ;)

This is another pretty big venue (up to 1500 capacity). Not sure that they are selling out, but he definitely seems to be drawing big enough crowds to work in those types of locations.

  66. oh, and Daniel has hijacked his brother’s twitter…

    KrisAllen

Kris should definitely never leave his Twitter open around @DA4Real He’s Dangerous. Kris is a poop face! (haha) he’s sleeping!

here are some photos from the Gala where Kris performed tonight…

    http://blog.camerasontheradio.com/post/494816843/kr

  67. Kris really looks gorgeous in those pictures from the Oxfam gala. His Mom looks stunning.

I wonder if we’ll get any videos of this?

  68. Taylor Hicks is getting better looking! What a cheerful enthusiastic performer!

^This is from way upthread but I have to ask: has anyone heard about Kris shooting a new video (for his 2nd single)? I haven’t.

I’m not sure why LLWD would be pulled on vh1, but if it’s to make way for a new video, there would have to be a new video, right?
