Sony Nashvile And Premiere Radio To Present Free Shows During CMA Fest – The TEXACO COUNTRY CLUB AT MARGARITAVILLE, will host a series of events at the club, MARGARITAVILLE, in downtown NASHVILLE during the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL this week. The schedule kicks off on THURSDAY, JUNE 7th at 11p (CT), with performances by BNA artists TYLER FARR and KELLIE PICKLER, followed by COLUMBIA RECORDS artist JOANNA SMITH and RCA’s LOVE AND THEFT, on FRIDAY, JUNE 8th. Adam Lambert interview: ‘I wasn’t being controlled’ – “Sexuality is a hot topic,” he says on the phone from the US, “so there’s a natural interest. But the interest comes predominantly from the media. I’ve done lots of interviews and often that is the pinnacle of the article, or the headline, or the main angle.” Actually, Lambert’s sexuality is far from the most interesting thing about him. Despite his break coming via Simon Cowell’s US show, he’s a long way from the TV production line template. His music is much nearer the Girls Aloud end of the reality spectrum than One True Voice territory, and his voice is genuinely powerful. ‘Idol’ winner put lots of time into new album – NEW YORK — Kris Allen, the winner of the eighth season of American Idol, didn’t stay in a fancy hotel or rent an apartment in Los Angeles when he recorded his second album. Instead, he crashed on his friends’ couch. “It’s a better feeling to come from the studio where I’ve been working and diving into music all day to get away from that and just be myself,” Allen said in a recent interview. Performances Announced for ’66th Annual Tony Awards’ – An Unforgettable night of performances will be featured on THE 66TH ANNUAL TONY?
