Bo Bice takes Part in the Cowan, Tennessee, Christmas Parade, which is celebrating 50 Years – Excitement is in the air as plans are being finalized for the 50th Annual Cowan Christmas Parade starting tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Cowan. The theme, most appropriately, is “Celebrate Christmas.” The parade lineup starts at Cookie’s Corner and proceeds down Cumberland Street through the downtown area, ending at Cowan Elementary School. Carrie Underwood celebrates past, awaits baby – The country singer and her pro hockey-playing husband, Mike Fisher, will be first-time parents in early 2015. “It’s such a crazy thing to think about,” Underwood said. “…Our lives are definitely about to change.” Baby Fisher wasn’t planned, but the singer said she and her husband knew “it was around time” to start their family. Scotty McCreery Raises $60,000 for 12.14 Foundation – Scotty McCreery‘s concert in Wallingford, Conn. on Thursday (Dec. 4) helped an organization that’s close to his heart move closer to a very important goal. McCreery serves as a National Goodwill Ambassador for the 12.14 Foundation, whose goal is “to build a landmark Performing Arts Centre in Newtown, Connecticut, in memory of those lost on December 14, 2012.” The foundation is working to build a premier Academy of the Arts with help from local, national, and international collaborations, to “create a remembrance that expresses our respect, our passion, our resilience and our focus on a hope for the future.” The rising country star performed at Toyota Oakdale as part of his See You Tonight Tour, which features special guest Danielle Bradbery.
