Reagan James talks her life, career after ‘The Voice’ – How did you feel last week? The best word I could describe it with is I felt blessed. Making the top 10 I felt was perfect for me. It was exactly where I needed to be and it was exactly where I needed to leave. I made it far, but I didn’t make it so far that all I was was a product of The Voice. I was on The Voice to get exposure, and build a fan base and experience the experience of a lifetime. I feel like a lot of people go on this show and that’s the high point of their career, but I plan on this being just the beginning. – Read more at Star Telegram

Clean shave aside, Josh Kaufman likes Broadway leap – “It was part of the deal,” Kaufman said during a phone interview from New York. “I had to be willing to cut that off. I was pretty used to having the beard, but it’s not too bad. I don’t really like shaving. Once I’m able to grow it back, I will choose the beard.” Kaufman began 2014 in relative obscurity, juggling the duties of an SAT prep tutor and the dreams of an independent singer-songwriter. A victorious run on NBC’s “The Voice” made Kaufman a reality-TV sensation. The 39-year-old will take a brief break from “Pippin” to travel back to the Midwest for a black-tie gala. On Dec. 6, Kaufman will perform at the 109th anniversary dinner of the Indiana Society of Chicago — a Windy City club for Hoosier natives. – Read more at Indystar.com

NBC’s ‘Peter Pan Live!’ raises stakes with flashier set, bolder cast – In a soundstage on a particularly desolate patch of Long Island, Allison Williams is dangling in the dark from a 25-foot harness. The “Girls” star floats stealthily above a brightly lighted bedroom where a make-believe family belts out the “Peter Pan” song “Tender Shepherd.” Then, just as the children finish singing and a quiet settles on the room, the bedroom windows swing open and Williams swings and swoops into the scene, landing cat-like on the floor. “Everyone here is working toward the same goals,” Williams says a moment later, slipping off the harness and zipping up a winter coat. “It’s just that our enemy is physics.” – Read more at the LA Times
