Amy Vachal goes back to school with benefit concert – Since her journey of “The Voice,” the 27-year-old Vachal, who hails from the Somerset section of Franklin, has been busy touring the country — with sell-out shows from New York to Los Angeles and creating new material for a forthcoming release. “I’m so grateful for that opportunity,” she said. “To be exposed to an audience that I never had before and probably wouldn’t have without it.
