Ruben Studdard performs at ‘Silence the Violence’ rally – In light of recent acts of violence around the world, and in our own community, people in Birmingham are hoping to “Silence the Violence.” That was the theme of a rally at Kelly Ingram Park on Saturday. It was sponsored by 98.7 Kiss FM and the City of Birmingham. “The most important thing is for us to gain an understanding of everybody’s point of view and to try to conquer everything with love,” Studdard said, “I think that’s the most important thing.
