AMERICAN IDOL Finalist Jeremy Rosado to Release New Full Length Album ‘Heartbeat’ – Remember American Idol Season 11 finalist, Jeremy Rosado? He was always crying and Jlo loved him? He’s putting out an album on Save the City records, which appears to be an independent Christian label. Heartbeat comes out on August 28th, 2015. Jeremy’s first radio single is titled “Speed of Love” and features rapper Canon. The song is available to radio, worldwide, through the PlayMPE music system. The album is produced by Nashville-based writer/producer Aaron Rice (Mandisa, tobyMac, Jaci Velazquez, Jason Castro). Jeremy will be touring in the Southeast United States in August/September with members of TagHouse Music and on the West Coast in September/October with NewReleaseToday.com. Constantine Maroulis & Alison Luff to Star in New Musical BREAKING THROUGH at Pasadena Playhouse – The Pasadena Playhouse (Artistic Director Sheldon Epps) announced today that, Alison Luff (Broadway: Matilda the Musical, Scandalous, GHOST the Musical, Mamma Mia!), and Constantine Maroulis (Broadway: Rock of Ages, Jekyll & Hyde, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), will lead the cast of BREAKING THROUGH, a world premiere musical, with book by Kirsten Guenther, and music and lyrics by Cliff Downs and Katie Kahanovitz. The production is choreographed by Tyce Diorio (SYTYCD choreographer) and directed by Sheldon Epps. Preview performances begin October 27, 2015 with the official press opening on November 1, 2015 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue in Pasadena). Further Casting Set for Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof; “So You Think You Can Dance” Winner Joins LeadsMelanie Moore, who won season eight of “So You Think You Can Dance,” will join the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof starring Danny Burstein. Also announced are Nick Rehberger, Adam Dannheisser and Karl Kenzler. Moore, currently playing Peter Pan in Finding Neverland, will star as Chava, with Rehberger (Aladdin) as Fyedka, Dannheisser (Rock of Ages) as Lazar Wolf and Kenzler (You Can’t Take It With You) as The Constable. – Read more at Playbill

10 Questions with … Cassadee Pope – I remember running in to you one day at Edgehill Café on Music Row with Sarah Buxton, and you had just written a song you were really excited about. What was that song, and is it on the project? “”Huff and Puff!” Oh my gosh, I just tracked the vocal for that the other day. I’m so excited about that! That was right in the middle of us writing that. We went back and finished it up, and I just did the vocal the other day right around the corner. I was gone on tour, and the girls went in to do the tracking session for the band. The first time I heard the track, I was like, “Oh, you guys, this is good!” So there are a lot of those. I’m excited.
