Laverne Cox Teases Fox’s ‘Rocky Horror’: ‘It’s No Holds Barred’ – You Snapchat with Adam Lambert? Well, we met on the movie. And I was obsessed with him during “American Idol.” I called in and was voting! He tweeted me three years ago when “Orange” came out, and we’ve been Twitter buddies until we met on the “Rocky” set. I had read that they talked to him, but I was told initially that they had been trying to cast Frank-N-Furter and couldn’t find the right person who would not make people think about Tim Curry. After I screen-tested, they thought that would be me. To be honest, I don’t think you can ever forget Tim Curry as Frank-N-Furter, but I think I’m different enough, and what I bring is different enough, that it announces to the world this is something new and different. – Read more at Variety

Miley Cyrus on ‘The Voice,’ Donald Trump and Coming Out – On the latest season of NBC’s “The Voice,” Miley Cyrus has reinvented herself from a twerking pop star to a mama-hen mentor. “I cry all the time,” Cyrus says about having to axe members of her team during the show’s elimination rounds. Behind the scenes, she dispenses copies of the self-help book “The Untethered Soul” to her contestants, trying to calm them down before live performances. On camera, she showcases an eclectic style — like an outfit covered in paper flowers — meant to counteract any last-minute jitters. “I think it makes the contestants feel safer,” says Cyrus of her colorful wardrobe. “When I turn around, people laugh and feel lighthearted. I think they get to see that side of me.” You’re a mentor on “The Voice.” Do you think you’ll do more seasons? I don’t know. I definitely would like to if it made sense. I haven’t done the live shows yet. I want to see how that feels. They might be a lot more pressure. – Read more at Variety

‘The Voice’: Inside the Show’s Epic Coach-Mentor Partnerships – This season, The Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine are teaming up with mentors Bette Midler, Joan Jett, Charlie Puth and Sammy Hagar, respectively. While they all have separate styles and come from entirely different backgrounds, there is one common denominator: they’re all fans and friends of each other. Midler was especially taken with Shelton. “He’s fun, he’s cute, he’s with it, he’s funny, he’s witty, he sings great, plays great guitar, sold millions of records,” Midler gushed, before joking, “He writes his own songs, and he’s going to give me one.” Shelton had equally flattering things to say about Midler. “I can’t think of anybody who knows more about the entertainment industry than Bette,” he said. – Read more at ETOnline

Taylor Hicks Reflects on his Career and Talks State Plate – How about hitting up a city near you playing music while hosting a new television show about eating amazing food? I recently got the chance to talk to Taylor Hicks about his career and his new show State Plate. In an exclusive interview with the Huffington Post, when discussing his current tour, he told me, “It’s doing great. It’s a tour within a tour. I’ve really been enjoying the acoustic sound. I’ve been doing more of the acoustic, smaller performing arts centers and venues. That’s something I have enjoyed doing as much as I enjoy doing the bigger venues. This particular tour is really stripped-down and raw. It’s me and a guitar player. I think a lot of people can get to know the artist that way. It’s something I always wanted to do.” People will also get the opportunity to learn more about Taylor Hicks by watching State Plate. “I’m shooting the food and travel show State Plate for the INSP network as well. As I’m on tour with the television show I’m also on tour with the music which is a good thing. It’s the best of both worlds,” he told me. – Read more at Huffington Post

Val Chmerkovskiy’s (Hot and Shirtless) Vlog: I ‘Shed a Couple of Tears’ with Laurie Hernandez in DWTS Rehearsal – Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Laurie Hernandez may have gotten season 23’s first perfect score last Monday, but that doesn’t mean it’s been an easy week for the Dancing with the Stars pair. “It was a tough week. I was very hard on her and there was a moment where we shed a couple of tears,” Chmerkovskiy says in his vlog, which he records exclusively for PEOPLE. “It was just a lot. It was a very intense week and I’m excited to show you the result of it.” – See the Video at People

Dancing with the Stars’ Maureen McCormick on How Her Husband Helped Her ‘Survive’ Addiction and Depression – Best known for her role as enviable oldest sister Marcia on the iconic ’70s sitcom, the actress is no stranger to dealing with hardships. When The Brady Bunch went off the air in 1974 after five seasons, the acting career McCormick dreamed of didn’t come to fruition and she began to spiral. She battled bulimia in her teens and a vicious cocaine addiction in her 20s. In her 30s she fought depression, and she struggled with her weight in her 40s. “I’ve been through a lot of hard times, but I take all those experiences and learn and grow from them,” says McCormick. At 60, “I actually feel healthier, happier and more in tune with myself than ever.” – Read more at People.com

Dancing with the Stars’ Jana Kramer: Why I Thought I Was Going Home – Last week was a big week for me. It was probably the first week I went out on that dance floor, really let go and enjoyed being out there. I was really happy with how our dance went. That said, I still have to concentrate. The judges are starting to get more nit-picky in their critiques and they aren’t judging us with kids’ gloves on anymore. They are looking at me as a dancer, not just a celebrity trying to dance. That’s nice, but also nerve-wracking. – Read more at People

Ryan Lochte Is Coming Out of His Dancing With the Stars Shell: “I’m on Cloud 9” – Ryan Lochte is coming out of his shell. The Olympic swimmer received a total score of 24 from the Dancing With the Stars judges for his contemporary dance with Cheryl Burke to “A Song for You” by Leon Russell. The dance was dedicated to his mom for “Most Memorable Year” night. Lochte picked 2008, the year he won his first gold medal at the Olympics—something he wouldn’t have been able to do without the support of hims mom and family. “I’m so happy,” he told E! News’ Sibley Scoles after the show. “I keep getting better. I’m loving this process.” “The first couple of weeks it was hard. I was in a shell, I was shy to come out and show people who I really am,” Lochte said of his new energy on the dance floor. “Now I think people are starting to see who I really am and they’re like, ‘This is a good guy,’ and I’m in this process of going on this show and dancing…everyone around me is so nice. I’m on cloud nine.” – Read more at EOnline
