The Ellen DeGeneres Show Announces End Date, Star-Studded Lineup of Guests for Farewell Countdown – Former American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres announced the end date of her long-running daytime talk show. Additionally, she revealed the star studded list of guests for her final weeks. On Wednesday, the daytime show announced that after 19 seasons the final episode will air May 26. Special guests include former First Lady Michelle Obama, Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Serena Williams, Zac Efron, Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo, Gwen Stefani, David Letterman, Diane Keaton, Kim Kardashian and Portia de Rossi. Cassandra Coleman to lead Mule Day parade on April 28 – The American Idol season 19 singer will lead the Mule Day parade in her native Columbia, Tennessee. Previous years have featured grand marshals such as Gov. Bill Lee, former Maury County sheriffs and others of note. Cassandra has remained in “hibernation mode” since last year’s finale, and continuing her work as a manager at Buckhead Coffee. “I feel very honored, and I am humbled even to be considered,” Coleman said. “I’ve been coming to the parade since I was 11 and to be leading it this year is very surreal. Rockers on Broadway drops a charity album of 12 live tracks featuring Constantine Maroulis – “Rockers On Broadway: Live” features Alex Brightman and Cervaris belting out “Under Pressure,” Dolenz of The Monkees singing “I’m a Believer,” LaChanze doing “Purple Rain,” Alice Ripley singing “Hallelujah,” Constantine Maroulis singing “No Rain” and Williams performing his signature “The Rainbow Connection.” The album is a selection of live performances from Rockers On Broadway concerts over the past 28 years.
