Backup singer Andrea Thomas finds spotlight on ‘The Voice’ – Andrea Thomas is no stranger to the spotlight — the Belmont University graduate used to be a backup singer for Carrie Underwood. But recently Thomas won a national stage on her own merit — the country singer-songwriter is on “Team Blake” on “The Voice.” “I think at every stage, I’m just thankful for opportunities to share my music with the world and for people to hear me and who I am,” said Thomas, who still lives in Nashville. “I do feel like I have something I carry that I want to release, and that’s making the world a better place with positive reinforcement and strong character and values.” – Read more at The Tennessean

Exclusive: La’Porsha Renae Talks Debut Album ‘Already All Ready,’ “American Idol” Fame, Family & More Congratulations on your album! Tell us what Already All Ready means. We talk a lot of smack but I think he and Heather Morris are going to do really well. She’s got great training already and is obviously going to be great, but I don’t think Nick is too far off that. – Read more at People

Simone Biles Says Dancing with the Stars Is Harder Than Olympic Training – Sasha has been an amazing teacher. He’s very patient and he knows when and how to push me. I’m getting the steps down that he’s teaching me, but there’s just so much more to dancing than I ever thought there would be. I’m used to being sore, but I am going home from rehearsals with sore muscles that I never knew could get sore! In gymnastics, we’re barefoot the entire day in training. With dancing, my calves and shins are aching at the end of the day because of the heels. – Read more at People

Heather Morris Reveals Why She Initially Turned Down Dancing with the Stars – Fast forward to about a month ago when I got a call from my reps saying, “Dancing With the Stars is circling back and wants to know if you’re interested in doing the show this season.” Of course, I immediately said yes; I’m so excited to get the chance to dance again, it’s gonna feel so great. – Read more at People
