  1. Two years and seven months? well, you can’t rush into these things, ya know? ?

  2. Haha. No worries! It’s not like they are promoting it or anything. -.-

  3. Also… I should talk. I have his album and haven’t listened to it in full yet. :/

That goes for a few Idol alumni members though. lol

I’m actually thinking of making a blog/website that focuses on American Idol alumni (Think Top 10 and higher…) CD’s and single artwork. ;)

  4. Rock royalty will appear on the upcoming episodes of Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing has lined up an array of top music guests to perform on this year’s series.

On December 2, Adam Lambert will celebrate the success of the box office smash Bohemian Rhapsody. Adam, who had a cameo in the movie, tours the world with Queen as their current lead vocalist.

  5. Thanks. Yes, it did. Further checking shows You Got ‘Em All was released on May 18. I had originally checked Trent’s Wikipedia page that doesn’t show it. I’ll make the correction.

  6. James Durbin’s online store at his offficial website re-opens this (Black) Friday, the same day his new Christmas single is released.

With a few weeks off from QR now before their show at the Whisky in Hollywood the end of Dec., next up is his new side project band “Boombox Saints” (with members of Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy). First show with them is on Dec. 22nd.

  7. …And this morning, another (partial video) tweet of one of QR’s recent Mexican shows this past week.

  8. Wondering if Bones will run under his stage name or his given name? With all his reality shows exposure At least more people now know who he is…sorta…

  9. Maddie’s official first single (Keep On Movin On) has barely 44,000 streams on Spotify. And she is getting zero promo that has to do with her actual music. She won the People’s Choice award (which isn’t an award that the music industry pays any attention to, TBH) and she’s releasing Xmas music. How does that help her? How about getting her actual single on the radio? Get her out on tour, even if it’s as a support act. Etc

  10. Well, guess who won Dancing With the “Stars” (separate thread)? American Idol’s new “full-time” mentor and Arkansas gubernatorial wannabe.

  11. Trent’s album is very good. Too bad Trent didn’t get more promo.

  12. I’m sure you’ll be xtra curious for the Fozzy Band one. Believe I saw another New Year’s Eve show w/the Lost Boys too. Busy end of Dec.

  13. Put in one sentence like that, the Ridiculous Factor rises considerably. IMO. smh. I have a feeling that for a politician, he would be a very good dancer. For a politician. Now you say, “But, he’s not really a politician”…and I say “Exactly”! *snark*

  14. The thing I don’t understand is that some keep saying how much Bobby helped Maddie as one of his selling points for mentor. But how did he help her? I don’t follow her but did any of her singles chart? I know Gone Gone Gone has over 2M streams on Spotify. That is not a huge number but considering many Idols/Voice write/release songs that don’t even hit 1M streams so I guess that is something. Will be interesting to see where her album lands on the Billboard 200. I’ll give Idol a chance. But not looking forward to hearing Bobby’s grand advice every week so they better come with some interesting and really good talent. And if it turns into another season of pushing a country artist only to see it turn into “she is no Carrie Underwood” I think I’ll be out early.

  15. Ditto for the Talent Factor – I can ignore Bobby Bones and his cheerleading, or whatever edit they give him for whatever Idol hired him to do – I was able to slide the Dawg right out of focus for absolutely years…they can both be the grown-ups on a Charlie Brown special, for all I care. ;-)

Pushing a Country artist ran right into the wall of Idol voters on Season 16…no matter how hard TPTB tried to hand pick, and micro-manage, shorten the voting and bend the end…it did not happen. Maybe they will try harder to push it, IDK…maybe they will have someone country the majority of the audience wants this time…but if they don’t have a good level of talent and some variety among the cast , I won’t see it, either. ¯_(?)_/¯

  16. Yeah, I forgot to mention that one. Since he’ll be in LA on the 29th for the QR show at the Whisky, I guess he and the family decided to stay in Cal. through NYE and he’ll be singing with The Lost Boys at their annual NYE show. Nice he was able to squeeze this show in.

jamesdurbinofficial SANTA CRUZ!! Told you I’d be back. I cant believe this will mark our 4th time doing this New Years Eve Party with my brothers @thelostboysscband! Looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces of fans, friends & family & rocking you into the new year!!
