How a ‘Kellyoke’ Cover Is Made, According to Kelly Clarkson’s Longtime Music Director – What did you do today so far for the show? We typically tape Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. The most important thing for Kelly is for her to be able to emote the song in the ways she’s most comfortable. Sometimes that’s moving around through a crowd; sometimes when it’s a really wordy song, it’s being planted somewhere so she can focus on emoting it. Lauren Duski Reveals Why She Took Her Time Before Releasing ‘Vulnerable’ Music After ‘The Voice’ – Lauren Duski didn’t rush to put out music immediately after coming on second place on season 12 of The Voice in the spring of 2017. My mom knew, yeah, [and] my brother. That’s it. Did your family watch the show then while you were on it? No, because I couldn’t have him be too into it, because like I said, he’s the kind of guy who would be like, “Have you seen my Kelly?” – Read more at Billboard.com
