‘Holiday Twist’ Adds American Idol season 10 Alum Haley Reinhart to Cast – “Holiday Twist,” an upcoming feature from ETM Pictures, announced on Thursday that a group of cast members added to the film, with production up and running in Los Angeles. Sean Astin (“Lord of the Rings”), Neal McDonough (“Yellowstone”), Haley Reinhart (“F is for Family”), Emily Tosta (“Mayans M.C.”) and Brian Thomas Smith (“Big Bang Theory”) will join the film, which is led by Kelly Stables (“Superstore”), and features James Maslow and Hugh Sheridan. “Holiday Twist” is set to be released this holiday season. – Read more at Deadline

Eurovision Song Contest 2023 Will Not Be Held in Ukraine, European Broadcasting Union Confirms After Ukraine Pushes Back – The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which organizes the annual Eurovision Song Contest, has categorically stated that next year’s competition will not take place in Ukraine. “The EBU fully understands the disappointment that greeted the announcement that the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) cannot be staged in Ukraine, this year’s winning country,” they said in a statement. “The decision was guided by the EBU’s responsibility to ensure the conditions are met to guarantee the safety and security of everyone working and participating in the event, the planning of which needs to begin immediately in the host country.” As part of their statement last Friday, the EBU revealed they were in discussions with the BBC about the U.K. hosting the contest. U.K. entry Sam Ryder finished second in this year’s competition. – Read more at Variety

American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen Heads Out on Tour with Jon McLaughlin – Kris writes, “I am THRILLED to announce I’ll be joining my dear friend @jonmclaughlin for his fall tour where he’ll be playing the absolutely fantastic album “Indiana” in it’s entirety. The American Idol and America’s Got Talent alum announces his first headlining show at the Patchogue Theater in his hometown, Long Island, New York. The concert is scheduled for November 4. “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!” Christian writes.”MY VERY FIRST HEADLINER WILL BE IN MY VERY OWN HOME TOWN!!!!! Noah Thompson Chats with WSAX 3 Huntington, West Virginia – Noah Thompson is a Louisa, Kentucky native who made national headlines when he won Season 20 of American Idol. He stopped by First Look at Four to talk about the experience and his plans for the future. Noah met the people he’ll be working with and will head back to Nashville soon. His grandma warns him to watch his back and not trust everyone he wants something. The anchor people interviewing him seem VERY WORRIED that he’ll make bad decisions.
