Interesting tidbit from a hometown feature: “Last year, Anderson was contacted by a television producer who saw her TikTok videos. That’s when she auditioned for “America’s Got Talent.” Sadly, that avenue did not work out. Instead, she was contacted by the same producer nearly a year later to try out for “American Idol.” Kenedi says, “Auditioning was one of the best experiences of my life for sure. It was really amazing,” she said. “It was very eye opening in the sense that I got to work with or be around so many musicians that love music. He’s got a large following on Tik Tok where he appears with his special needs sister, Katie. “I just want to have fun with it. All of the pressure is off now after the audition,” he said in an interview with The Coast Star on Wednesday, three days after the episode aired. “I feel it is important right now to be recording music because I have a lot of eyeballs on me right now. If I can get people to listen to my music on Spotify and Apple Music, especially new releases, that’s ideal.
