American Idol 2022 Auditions 2: Meet The Contestants (Photos)

American Idol’s landmark season 20 continues on ABC Sunday March 6. The second audition episode includes hopefuls who sang in front of judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan in Austin, Los Angeles and Nashville. Host Ryan Seacrest is on hand to help, as always.

Sunday’s American Idol “auditions 2” episode includes a former Miss America, a recent contestant on the FOX game show, I Can See Your Voice, and former America’s Got Talent and The Voice contestants you will surely remember.

American Idol Auditions 2 Contestants List

Kenedi Anderson – It’s not a spoiler! Kenedi has been seen triumphantly waving a Platinum Ticket in at least one promo. She got hers in Los Angeles. She’s from Virginia, and is a vocal beast. Watch her POV cover HERE – Instagram Tik Tok
Kurtis Bell – Kurtis sings old school rock n roll that involves Jerry Lee Lewis inspired piano playing and rockabilly electric guitar. – Instagram
Kelsie Dolin – Beckley West Virginia native performs country music and is quite raw. She auditions for her grandma, according to a promo. – Instagram Tik Tok
Christian Guardino – Christian, from New York, is an America’s Got Talent alum who got Howie Mandel’s golden buzzer in 2017 at age 16. Isaiah Jayy – Isaiah also goes by Beret Zay. He’a a South Central Los Angeles native who has opened for Eric Bellinger, Mila J and Ginuwine. Leah Marlene – Leah is an Illinois resident, by way of Toronto Canada. She’s a talented and quirky songwriter from a musical family. Her dad, Derry Grehan is a songwriter and lead guitarist with the Canadian band, Honeymoon Suite. She studied for two years at Belmont University in Nashville – Instagram Tik Tok
BETTY (Maxwell) – 27 year old Betty won Miss America in 2016 as Betty Cantrell. She has a huge following on Tik Tok and is a motivational speaker and makeup artist. Originally from Georgia, she moved to Nashville after her reign to pursue a country music career (On the pageant, she sang opera WATCH). But now she lives in Florida with her husband Spencer Maxwell. Allegra Miles – 19 year old Allegra competed on The Voice season 18 on Team Nick Jonas. The singer left the competition at the semi-finals. Season 18 went virtual after the pandemic shut down TV and movie production. She never performed live. Kaitlyn Rose – A Los Angeles based dancer and Instagram star (88K followers), Kaitlyn auditioned for Idol with other dancers, which is kind of odd. She was once signed to MSA dance agency and was a figure skater for 6 years. She performs at a pre-teen event HERE. – Instagram Tik Tok
Luke Taylor – This 24 year old Liberty University student has 1.9 million followers on Tik Tok where he goes by “Luke the Voice.” Only a month ago he appeared on an episode of the FOX musical game show, I Can See Your Voice where he pretended to be a carpenter. He totally stumped the panel. His big reveal features a performance of Toby Keith’s “Beer for My Horses” and gives off Caleb Lee Hutchinson vibes. WATCH. – Instagram Tik Tok
Skylie Thompson – At 14 in 2018, the singer won a The Brat competition judged by The Voice alum Aliyah Moulden and AGT’s contortionist Sofie Dossi. Now 17, the Cyril, Oklahoma native appeared on Karma, an HBO web series. – Instagram Tik Tok
Aaron Westberry – Aaron goes by Wessbery and is a 20 year old super pop-centric vocalist from Greer, South Carolina. – Instagram Tik Tok
