Allison Iraheta and Halo Circus Postpone Album
Due to circumstances beyond my control we are moving the album release date to June 24. Please accept my sincere apology. As you know, we (me and Halo Circus) can’t get the new album out soon enough and cannot wait to start touring. The good news is that we’ll have time to get some cool things happening and bring you new music along the way. Your continued support means the world to me. Sorry and thank you. Can’t wait until June 24!!! – Via Facebook
Q&A with Zealyn – Can you tell us a little bit about yourself for any readers who may not be familiar? I grew up surrounded by music. For as long as I can remember I’ve been singing, and I always knew that’s what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So, for the past three years I’ve been releasing pop music under a different name, and just a couple months back made the alternative / electronic switch, now going by Zealyn. You’re getting ready to release your album, Limbic System this summer – what are you most excited for listeners to hear on it? Oh man, literally everything about it. Each song is so unique and packed with so much emotion. I hope people enjoy the creativity of the music, the depth of the lyrics, and can feel how genuine the emotion is. At the same time, I hope people jam out to it. – Read more at the Prelude Press
BWW Interview: Kellie Pickler Talks Idol, Reality Series & Broadway Dreams – What advice would you give to the finalists La’Porsha Ranae and Trent Harmon, now that they are both starting out in the music industry? Oh my, I don’t know if they need my advice! I think they’re in great hands and they’re both going to have very successful careers. But I would say that you just have to keep working hard, you never stop paying your dues. You know you look at people like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, they’re still out touring and working on their records, so you never stop paying your dues for as long as you want to do this. Just never stop working hard. – Read more at Broadway World
Chris Daughtry’s superhero dream – Asked if he wants to be in a comic book movie, he said: “That would be the ultimate dream, put on the suit and be a hero but I just love acting so I’m interested in all roles.” But the 36-year-old star thinks he has a long way to go to match Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ as he thinks the 42-year-old actor is the “best” Caped Crusader he’s ever seen. Daughtry’s greatest hits, ‘It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far’, is out now, while they tour the UK next month. – Read more at Sunday World
American Idol winner ‘Letting You In’ – “A while back, my friend and I were driving through and we got pulled over for a minor ticket,” Allen said. “My friend tried to pass it off as, ‘Hey, this is the winner of American Idol.’” The officer was not impressed, he added. Allen is as humble as they come, even when being crowned the winner of America’s most-watched reality show thrust an ordinary person into the immediate spotlight of millions. “There was definitely a lot of expectation. Like, ‘You won American Idol. You should probably be amazing.’ When really, I wasn’t. I was so green and new, and had a lot to learn,” he said. – Read more at Bakersfield.com

The Voice 2016 – The Voice Digs
How Dancing with the Stars’ Paige VanZant Plans to Rebound From the Bottom Three – “It felt really scary being at the bottom,” she tells TVGuide.com. “I need to continue to remind the fans to vote even when I do get a good score because everything counts. It challenged to me work harder this week.” Believe it or not, she doesn’t attribute her childhood dance training to her strong performances so far. “A little bit of my dancing is helping, but I’ve never done any ballroom dancing with a partner. Dancing with a partner is different. In fighting you have to work against your opponent and counter what they are doing. With dancing you have to pretty much copy what your partner is doing.” – Read more at TV Guide
