Fifth Harmony at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards
The 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA) were presented at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Saturday night (April 30). The show will be telecast on The Disney Channel Sunday May 1. (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT). Performers included The Voice winner Jordan Smith plus Ariana Grande, Daya, DNCE, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Kelsea Ballerini, Laura Marano, Sabrina Carpenter, Sofia Carson and Zara Larsson.
The Voice coach Gwen Stefani was be honored with the 2016 RDMA ‘Hero’ Award in recognition of the positive impact she has on fans, inspiring them to do good. The singer brought her niece Stella Stefani along as her plus 1!
The Voice coach Pharrell Williams, American Idol alum Sonika Vaid and Nashville’s Lennon & Maisy were among the presenters.
Fifth Harmony won Best Music and Best Fan group. One Direction nabbed Best Crush Song for “Perfect.” Tori Kelly won Breakout Artist of the Year.
