Sofia Carson Teases Upcoming ‘American Idol’ Disney Night Performance!

American Idol Top 9 Finalist Casey Bishop Talks Disney Week, Duet with Brandon Boyd and Finale Wish List – While going to Disney World is exciting for the other contestants, but being from Florida, Bishop is a pro when it comes to the Magic Kingdom. “I live literally 3 hours away,” she laughs. Bishop called in to talk all things Idol with mid-day host Michele Amabile, and so far she is having a ball getting to rock out to songs by The Black Crowes, Paramore, and joining Incubus leader Brandon Boyd for a duet of “Wish You Were Here.” “He was awesome,” she said. “I could not have ask for a better partner.” Bishop had plenty to share with Michele, especially the love she received from celebrities like Idol alum Haley Reinhart, the Soundgarden camp, and Chris Cornell’s daughter, Lily Cornell, who reached out on Instagram after Bishop covered “Black Hole Sun,” a performance that wowed judge Luke Bryan. (Also, Michelle asks her if Bobby Bones mentoring is helpful and Casey’s reaction is…a little sarcastic…hmm) – Listen to the Interview at 107.1TheBoss

I Was Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis After My Body Went Numb While Touring For ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ – I was 23 years old and on tour as an All-Star on the Season 7 tour of So You Think You Can Dance when my legs went numb, even when I was dancing. When I put my chin to my chest, I could feel electrical sensations shooting through my feet. I thought I’d hurt my back and—as professional athletes sometimes do—I pushed through the discomfort. Yes, I couldn’t feel my legs, but they still moved, I told myself. I could do this. For months, I put up with not being able to feel anything from my waist down. – Read more at WomensHealthMag
