Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire will open the CMAs with a tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. 0 During the Broadcast, Carrie will also perform her new single “Hate My Heart.” Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning will host the show, which begins at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC Wednesday Nov. 9. 

Lionel Richie to Receive Icon Award at 2022 American Music Awards – Lionel Richie will receive the Icon Award at the 2022 American Music Awards. Richie, who hosted the show in both 1984 and 1985, at the peak of his career, will take the stage to look back on his most iconic songs and AMA achievements over the years. He will become the only artist to be featured on the AMAs stage in every decade since the show’s inception in 1974. The Icon Award honors an artist “whose body of work has marked a global influence over the music industry.” Rihanna was the first recipient of the award in 2013. Hosted by Wayne Brady, the 2022 American Music Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Lionel Richie Inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame

American Idol judge Lionel Richie was inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of fame over the weekend. “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! There was so much love last night at the @rockhall ceremony,” Lionel wrote in Instagram. “Thank you for the honor and an incredible night. My brother @lennykravitz I can’t think of a better person to induct me. Love u man. Sells Beverly Hills Estate for $51 Million – Ryan Seacrest is bidding his final farewell to Los Angeles, because he just unloaded his last big property there … selling the mansion he once acquired from Ellen DeGeneres. Real estate sources tell TMZ … Ryan just closed on the sale of his sprawling Bev Hills estate for $51 million. TMZ broke the story … Ryan originally put the home on the market back in November 2020, when he was seeking $85 million.
