Adam Lambert on his new musical, Halloween solo tour and singing with Queen: ‘I feel settled and comfortable’ – “My album ‘Velvet’ was released two weeks before everything got shutdown and canceled,” Lambert said. “Once I got over that, I wanted to be creative and do something. I had pitched this idea for a musical before the pandemic started, based on a real story about a real guy, and I started doing Zoom songwriting sessions for it during the pandemic. “Some musicals have one composer and one lyricist. But because of my experience in the music world and the theater world, we’ve chosen to work with a group of composers, lyricists and producers, almost approaching it like a pop album. “I celebrate Halloween when I’m on tour and even when I’m not on tour,” he replied. “I love the holiday, and it’s exciting to put together a (concert tour) especially for Halloween.” – Read more at SwokNews.com

Jennifer Hudson on Striving for Your Dreams and the Importance of Being Yourself – As you were preparing to launch your talk show for the first time, did you reach out to any other talk show hosts to help prepare you? Well, I mean, you know, talk shows are there, so it’s like it’s embedded in us regardless. It’s the soundtrack of our homes, it’s in our culture. So I feel like it’s always been there. The thing I was most excited about is to simply be me. I talked to—let’s see, I heard from Kelly [Clarkson], I heard from Ellen [DeGeneres], getting little insights, Sherri [Shepherd] as well, you know, things like that. But for the most part, my goal is to simply be myself. – Read more at Parade.com

  1. This is funny! Maybe they should have given Adam a larger part. Haha.

  2. Probably because he is not recognizable in the movie. I didn’t notice it was him when I watched the movie the first time, then when I found out it was him later I remember going back to that part of the movie to see it again, and I paused it too, lol.

  3. But it is still funny that it is in the top 50 for people pausing for him. And maybe more of him would have been a good thing cause people wanted to look for him. That one small scene sure got a lot of press for Adam, lol.

  4. Sure, more Adam is never a bad thing! It just made me laugh because I did pause it.
