Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke to Star in First Film, ‘High Expectations’ – Former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke will star in CDW Films’ “High Expectations,” an upcoming drama about a soccer player’s journey toward success after rejection by his father.Brooke’s starring role as Sofia, the main character’s ex-girlfriend, will mark the singer’s acting debut. She stars alongside Taylor Gray, Kelsey Grammar and Briana Scurry, a US women’s 1999 World Cup champion. “I am beyond excited to be a part of this wonderful film and to breathe life into my beautiful character Sofia,” Brooke told Variety exclusively in a statement. “It has always been a dream of mine to branch out into acting, since moving out to LA with my parents at 12 years old.” – Read more at Variety

‘DWTS’: Kaitlyn Bristowe Reveals How She Was Able to Dance After Her ‘Worst Case Scenario’ Injury (Exclusive) – “It was a little sore at first. We had a couple of rehearsals and I had to take off my heel and I stepped on my bare foot and I was like, ‘Oh no.’ I could not put weight on it,” Bristowe recalled of the first sign of injury. “I just broke into tears and I went straight to physical therapy.” While Bristowe first thought, “Hey universe, not fair,” about her injury, she quickly changed her focus into figuring out a way to dance this week. “I wrapped it and I saw a doctor. Masked Singer’s First Season 4 Castoff on Being a Victim of His Signature Sound (and What Doritos and Game of Thrones Have to Do With It) – We doubt much Courvoisier was getting passed around Dragon’s home Wednesday night as the results of The Masked Singer‘s premiere episode were made known: The fiery beast was the first Season 4 performer to get unmasked, and when that happened, he was revealed to be rapper Busta Rhymes. I tried to disguise it by making it deeper, and I tried to actually tone down the energy of my performance so it wouldn’t look like the traditional, impactful energy that I give because that would’ve made it all the more obvious. I guess the costume, being a dragon and people knowing that Busta Rhymes represents the dragon, and the signature sound of my voice. I don’t know if that was the best decision to make as far as a costume, to try to disguise that it was me.
